As long as someone needs. Find a different job

Do better.

You ever loss a child?

The difference between a parent and child can't be measured. I have never lost a child, but have lost younger family.

And often it is not even about you, but about being with the other person. People who are not feeling the pain with you make statements(you should move on) and ask questions(how long until you are over it?) And the amount of b******t you can handle is greatly diminished.

Also also, you might be all kinds of emotions, and they may manifest as anger which turns into violence, then you are all over lowlights swinging a helmet with malicious intent.

This. I lost my brother 6 years ago. That has been the hardest thing I've ever went through. It has changed my parents forever.
Congratulations to Ward and his family. Hopefully he has a very healthy baby boy. Good luck in the future. I think his season is done and who can blame him if it is.
Any chance we can keep him?

Always a chance, but not smart business to sink a bunch of money into aCB that is approaching 30

Tough year for Ward. Not sure if that's a sign of slowing down or just mental fatigue from some life changing events. If we keep him I hope he bounces back strong.

I totally understand, but I love the idea of him, demo, and green for another year or two. Lets us focus on other areas etc.

I'm hoping they re-sign him too. I think he still has a couple good years in him.

Agree, but I think he's looking for one final, big payday

He said he can't play in cali cause of how emotional it is. Wish him nothing but the best in his future but he doesn't have any plans of resigning here.
