When this kid is on, he is rock solid in man coverage, One of the best cover CB's who's still young and improving. Nice free agent signing.

This is the right move. High end CB in FA, we have a stacked roster and we only have a few glaring issues, corner is one of them and this dude is young, has the size and looks solid as far as his stats go. What is there to complain about? We fix corner in FA, and draft DL and BPA in the draft to get more weapons for Trey or OLine depth, another TE etc.

Call me crazy but I like Ward for his contract over JC Jackson for his contract. Both undrafted players from 2018 class.

Yep and Ward's contract average salary per year ranks 11th amongst all CBs right now. Next year he will be around the 15th. In 2024, he will probably be the 20th. This guy is young, improved year-over-year, and hasnt even reached his prime.
