You said no one there to stop the run yet that 4 man front would be a force against the pass and run we arnt talking about injuries
Just watched the highlights from the last two playoff games the Chiefs had against the Bills.

2020 playoff game. I had him only giving up 1 catch for 7 yards
2021 playoff game. He gave up 2 catches for 22 yards. Both Catches he was absolutely blanketed on the receiver.

In both games, He looked like an absolute shutdown corner. Wanna go watch some more games of this kid.
I wonder if Jimmy G texted him to welcome him to the team.

They drafted DJ Jones in the 6th round. You believe the same staff can't find someone to replace him at least 80% of the way?

They also drafted kinlaw and Solly in the first round.

Kinlaw and armstead on the inside would be be tough to run against what are you talking about ?

The odds of Kinlaw not getting hurt are pretty slim.

That was the same thing said about Armstead after year 2 and 3.

Armstead never had knee Issues coming out of college though. Something to think about.

No.

Kinlaw has been fine other than for the injury issues. Thomas was a case of trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

They should have no issue finding someone to eat blocks and stuff the run in the middle rounds.
Guys thinking that we´re gonna be fine against the run with Kinlaw and that chronic issue is a delusional as some guy in Moscow thinking that he was gonna win the war in 3 days.

BTW with Ward we still need the pass-rush to do all the work on passing downs and we still don´t have a ballhawk in the back end of the defense.
I like the signing!

Yes but that guy in his rookie year won´t be as good as DJ was last season

They don't need him to be as good as DJ Jones. Improvement on the back end along with a hopefully improved pass rush is going to put the defense in a better position overall. If they can get anything out of Kinlaw then that would be another boost. Find a guy that can take some snaps and handle the run. You don't need him to be a world beater, just hold up inside and eat some double teams.
