Good players are over payed in free agency regardless of position. You new to this concept or something. There's a reason Marcus Peters wasn't retained by the Chiefs. It's why Trevon Diggs is T considered the best DB. Interceptions are a glorified stat that gets players overrated. JC Jackson is more of an outlier than the rule as he is just a an incredible player that got to benefit from having one of if not the most incredible defensive minds in football.

Agreed. I'm happy to have him but he's Emmanuel Moseley 2.0 to me and might be his replacement in case EM plays well and goes to the Jets next year. And that's not a knock on him. Who knows, if our pass rush hits like it should, the TO's will come. This kind of contract is our wheelhouse.
