We don't care about "Interceptions" here. Jk. Aslong as he can cover, that's all that matters, like you mentioned above.

I'll take consistent coverage over Travon Diggs picks while getting torched the rest of the time all day long. What he needs to not do is get the PIs.

Me 2, Diggs gets the love due to the INTs, but he gets torched so much.

Diggs gave up the most yards of any cb in like 15-16 years.

But much like people like to defend Matt Stafford who is a turnover machine (led the league in ints and also pick 6's), Diggs more than makes up for the yards he gives up with turnovers. Turnovers > yards given up….when determining wins

Is that a fact? Or your opinion? Because leaving receivers wide ass open seems like a pretty good way to lose games. Not to mention, those interceptions won't always be there.
I would rather have a corner that QB's are afraid to throw the ball his way rather than a corner with good hands who can't cover.

As far as last year went, it's more of a fact than an opinion. Now if Diggs still plays that way going forward without the interceptions that is a problem. However, last year he more than made up for it with those turnovers and game changing plays. Also, just like you mentioned the turnovers are not always there, leaving wide receivers may not always happen. You also have to consider that sometimes quarterbacks do not hit wide-open receivers as well (Ramsey in the SB). We saw this firsthand a PLETHORA of times by many cbs but we did not see ints like that by a player in decades

If you go back and look at who he got those picks from, they look far less impressive. Other than Brady and Herbert the first two games of the year, the rest came against sub par quarterbacks like Darnold, Hurts, Heineke, and Jones.

Sure. It'd be great to have all pros across every position group. Just not all that feasible in today's NFL. I'll take not getting burned deep over an int every day of the week.

I'll take either of those over all of the PIs we got last year.

Yea. Injuries have been a b***h. Had to rely on Josh Norman and a 3rd round corner for much of the season. Ambry showed some promise toward the end of the season though. He should be better this coming season, I hope.

Remember when Buster Skrine had to play some games? Tough times indeed.

Yep, it's impossible to have All Pros everywhere on the field, we're lucky with who we have All Pro wise, Juice, Deebo, Trent, Kittle, Bosa, Warner, then add in guys who are close to being at the top of their positions, C.Ward, J.Ward, AA, Aiyuk.

I think we went over something like this, only with household names, 49ers right on par with the Rams, Chiefs, Bucs, etc....
