lets see him against tougher competition though

Tougher competition? We lost to the bears

Aaaaaa yeah. 204 yards of offense where their biggest play was a busted coverage that would've never happened without the penalty on third down not to mention if Jimmie Ward was playing. Context matters.

We outplayed them in every single category by a wide margin. Too bad we also beat them in penalties and injuries. Again, context matters

Our defense was great. We lost because our running game and QB couldn't get going. You could see the life sucked out of the defense as they slowly realized they weren't scoring s**t.

He plays LCB so that answers that. I wasn't sure all training camp long which side he'd play. Liked the play where he turned his head around and leaned into the WR to get an incompletion on a Go route up the sideline. Gonna get tested this week versus DK/Lockett.

He played very good, very impressed by Charvarius.
Very good first outing for him as a 49er, hope he keeps it up when we face better receivers.

Looks cool running around out there without gloves. Funny how strange it looks to see a dude playing with nothing on his hands or arms.

Same. For some reason this guy popped in my mind when I saw him lol

Sherm made a career out of grabbing jerseys. Its only cheating if you get caught.

Exactly. And it was only a holding vs. a P.I.

Yep. The best corners in the league grab alot but they have a way of doing it without the ref noticing.
I thought he was only as good as Mosely lol

Ward and Moseley playing lights out so far this is definitely a new element to our defense....combine this with polamalo clone running out there and a healthy Jimmie ward and we could have a insanely good secondary this year ...hopefully it can carries us to a sb

PFF NFL Secondary Rankings through week 2

19. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERSHighest-Graded DB: SS Talanoa

Hufanga (90.7)You can make a case that the 49ers have the best safety room in the NFL after two weeks. Talanoa Hufanga is the No. 2-ranked safety in the NFL in PFF grade. At the same time, veteran Tashaun Gipson comes in at No. 4. The issue for the 49ers is that their cornerback room has been very mediocre to start the season, and they don't have the cornerbacks to match up with the best receivers in the league.

Am I missing something on their CB take? Makes no sense to me.
