Looked like a lot more than just a special teams guy out there tonight.
Looked good IMO, as did Odum, and McCloud, and all the b***hing about signing ST Aces or key ST guys is ridiculous, we're hardly paying those 3 much APY wise, I'm pleased with Burks, and the newcomers.
Spot on AB, was thinking the same thing during the game. Also love how great a tackler Burks is.

Wanted to give a shoutout to this guy.
Going into this game after first two, I thought the coaching staff would just play nickel from here on out and not bother with base SAM LB.
But...saw Burks on a lot of SAM snaps today and he did pretty well. He's not quite Azeez Al-Shaair in terms of flashy/fast plays, but he was solid and made some nice stops and tackles.

Gotta give Burks some love I agree, been a solid contributor the first 3 weeks, I'd be all for extending him & McCloud for another 2yr deal, each.

Yep, I hope they try & extend him at some point, he's playing really good, and yeah more PT with Azeez gone, happy for Azeez to get to be LB1 for TEN.

He's definitely earning his keep.
I hope they can extend him.

Back to back weeks of Burks proving hes more than just a special teamer. There was a play in the 1st half where he set the edge on one side of the field, the runner cut back across the other side of the field and Burks' motor had him over there on the pile.

He seems to get better as the game goes on. I'm happy to them rotating him in giving Warner and Greenlaw a break.

Speaking of unsung players, this is another one. He's been a really good SAM and deserves some love too like Gipson.

Absolutely. This guy impressed last year. I hope Wilkes find some creative packages to get him on the field. He's fast enough to cover and strong enough to Stone most backs. We have another guy who needs snaps too - odum. He makes plays too

Absolutely. I was worried heading this season about the SAM position. We had an excellent SAM in Al Shaair, so losing him can be big, but so far, we are not seeing much of an issue with Burks at the SAM position. This is going much better than I thought so far.

Agree and Graham and Winters waiting in the wings to back him up too.
