Nice thread. A bunch of quick hit predictions:
- more inside zone runs
- Aiyuk stock up
- Kittle stock down
- air yards up
- more throws outside the numbers
- more sacks
- more explosive pass plays

When you say Kittle stock down, I'm assuming you mean in terms of Receiving Stat production?

It's gonna be interesting what the Targets look like. We'll be a run-first offense and multiple good pass-catchers, I can definitely see someone's numbers going down.

Yes, I meant Kittle's number of targets. Not that he would regress as a player. He could very well improve overall, but get less targets giving us the impression he regressed. I do think Aiyuk will be Lance's favorite target so someone will see less targets - my guess is that is Kittle.

Gotcha, gotcha. I agree with that.

If I had to pick someone for Fantasy Football after Deebo, I'd pick Aiyuk. I think we're all gonna be excited for the deep routes, but I think we'll see an uptick in the outside sideline routes. Aiyuk's catch radius is such a gift to his QB's.

I actually think we will bring in another TE via the draft or F/A to help lighten Kittle's blocking load. If this happens we will have our dynamic receiving TE back in the mix. I also think they may bring in another complete TE and use a lot of 2 TE sets.

Just my opinion.

I do think that Kyle wants to add that dimension to the offense (two TEs). He acquired Jordan Reed and probably had visions of Reed and Kittle on the field causing problems (Kittle was injured much of that year) as a change up from his typical 21 personnel with Juice. Kyle likes flexibility and having a capable second TE would add another layer to the offense. Charlie Woerner is developing slowly. Not sure if he's the guy. I don't think the team will spend a lot to get this part time player but I do believe Kyle would like to have a good TE2.
- Aiyuk breaks out
- Lance is the 2nd leading rusher on the team
- Sermon elevates to backup RB
- More explosives but more sacks allowed
- Kittle used as a big slot
- Add and use a more talented 2nd TE
- Deebo regresses not in talent but in defensive attention hence bullet #1
- Around a 15th net offensive ranking
We'll most likely see Aiyuk numbers Go up, whilst Deebo takes a backseat ( receiving wise ). I wouldn't be surprised to see Lance put up around 600 yards rushing either, especially with how defenses will look to play Deebo this season. Basically, Deebo will still be the X-factor for us without the pretty stats he had last year.
-more QB runs
-more Deebo runs
-more inside running with Sermon
-more TE runs
-more Mitchell runs on 1st downs
-more outside zone runs overall
-more emphasis on running the ball
-more runs
-more run blocking by WRs

in the words of Baalke...

"I think somewhere in there, he said we're going to run the football"
