Bosa impressed with Aaron Banks
Fans haven't seen much of 49ers second-round draft pick Aaron Banks this season, but that doesn't mean he isn't making progress at practice.

49ers defensive end Nick Bosa has had the chance to match up against the rookie offensive lineman at practice this season and on Thursday he told reporters that Banks is better now than he was earlier in the year.

"He seems stronger, but yeah, just pass protection's better, more stout," Bosa said. "I don't go against him too often, but when I have, and I've seen him in one-on-ones and stuff, he's looking good."

That's encouraging news given how little Banks has played this season. He's appeared in the last five games for the 49ers, with most of his snaps coming on special teams

Got it so most of the analysis on Banks projecting as a starter is from practice and few snaps towards the end of the Jags game after we had crushed them. I hope folks are right.
but it wasn't a few snaps, but like i said.. you're not gpoing to change your mind..even though you didn't even know he played before this

Banks had 5 offensive snaps. 5.

But 44 on ST.
All good, Reps are reps. No Sacks, run stuffs, FG or Punt blocks, and most of all no penalties is all you can ask for... If any of those happened.. i'm sure people would have known he played

I wouldn't expect anybody to notice 5 snaps unless it was in a crucial position and called out during the game. Like, I wouldn't expect anybody to know he had 44 ST snaps either...unless he effed up and it was called out on the broadcast.

i tend to look at jersey numbers once in awhile, mostly at home games when there is no commentary. I knew he played, but didn't know how much until i looked it up, 5 didn't sound right..but i guess ST snaps is frowned upon

5 snaps on offense. Are you really going to account Special Teams snaps for an O-lineman?? I could see if he was a return man, then l could see your argument upholding.

RG David Quessenberry
C J.C. Tretter
LG Ereck Flowers

RG Xavier Su'a-Filo

Idk what they'd cost, but considering they were all cut, or not tendered(Quessenberry), idk why they'd go for more than like $3M-$5M for 1yr, or a 2-3 yrs deal, Tretter is the best on the list, he is 31, Quessenberry is actually 32, wow, didn't realize that.

Wasn't Xavier Su'a-Filo on the team last year or am I mistaken?

There was a guard on our team last preseason that I thought played really well but went unnoticed.

If it was him id like him back.

I think you're thinking of Senio Kelemente.
