Should John Lynch be replaced as GM?

In the grand scheme of things, if we had waited 5 months to sign Kirk Cousins instead of trading for JG I believe we have at least 1 SB.

Actually think this team has to do more with what Kyle Shanahan has done than what John Lynch has ever done for this organization. I can't really find a defining move that Lynch can actually make claim to. Well except for that horrible trade to move to #3 overall and select Trey Lance, but that could still pan out we'll see.

It's frustrating because they have been so close, but what GM has truly done a better job the last 5 years? Except Bucs, Rams, KC, Pats which team is doing a better job before forecasting this offseason effect. You could possibly add a few AFC GMs that couldn't get by KC. If Lance turns into a stud the 49ers could soon own the NFC and Lynch looks like a genius. If you get rid of Lynch who do you replace him with that you know is better?People mention Peters, but nobody outside of the organization really knows what rumors about him are fact or fiction.

Idk about the Pats, they went all in on FA last year, but some of the signings didn't look great, I think it was Hunter Henry, we're definitely top 5 front office, Lynch is top 5, top 10 at worse GM wise. Idk if the Peters stuff is true or not, if not, then I guess the reason he hasn't gotten a GM spot is whatever's not true is the reason.

This thread has been running about 4;1 to continue with GM Lynch, which i agree with wholeheartedly. There is already a thread for JL, and this seems unnecessary. Besides for someone who has done as good a job as he has, it is disappointing to see this thread every day. Most have gotten their 2 cents in and thread is now locked.
