Lol. Ninertalk a week into the off season be like
Last yr, same crowd, pizzing and moaning that we used our first and traded for two others to sign what? Mack Jones? Hell everybody knew it because all you had to do was tune into ESPN, ABC, NBC, Fox, CBS, all talking heads in sports and that went on for near 2 months. With what proof? None. ZERO. And yet the malcontents, bihcted and moaned… all that for a guy we could have had at #13…then finally, When all complainers that knew it was a done deal, a fait accompli, it just went dormant.

"Fire Lynch. Fire kyle. Don't know what they are doing." And what happened? 2 months later all those who had pilloried JL , had to eat grass, crow and cow dung. Thru all the whining, HC nor GM never said a peep. That was left to twitchy, loud mouth fans who KNEW BETTER. And then we take Lance.

How many of you who right now believe JL turned down 2 seconds….actually KNOW for sure? Right nobody. Because JL and KS keep that kind of thing to themselves and never, not once did they go to the press and try to redeem themselves. Why? Because that is how pros, experts, do business.

So please don't use "we turned down two 2nds" , unless JL says so or until you see it stated as a 9er fact. And so far, at least to my knowledge we don't know. So quit using that to tar and feather our GM or coach. For heavens sakes, WAIT until you know for sure. There are a hundred pages today on what we are getting for JG….and yet, not one person knows. Oh, you heard it on twitter? BFD. There's more krapt on there than there is in a barnyard.

Enough already. Nobody is going to know anything until JL announces it. Fine. then say your piece. But looking at the wild azz posts today in Jimmy's value thread , makes me want to vomit . We have some fans that cannot wait to write something no matter how wrong…and certainly undocumented.

So let's give our guys who have produced two NFCCG appearances and one win, have a break. If i were working for some of the gossips we have on the 9ers, i would have quit long ago. We have a pair of studs leading the team and a quarter of our fans want blood from a turnip. Lynch isn't saying what happened until it happens. Until then…how about giving our HC//GM a break and wait til they announce what they did?…and NOT what they are going to do. Or someone else said what Lynch had done or not done. For the complainers, how about being quiet and give your ears a chance?

you want an old lady GM? Well you had Baalke. One of those is enough. We are lucky to have JL and KYLE…except for those fans who think they know better.

You always see Shanny looking tired and sleep deprived cause he works so hard and John Lynch looking energetic and fresh. I don't think he puts in the work it takes to be an NFL GM.
The calls for Lynch's head are mostly a reaction to Jimmy Garoppolo not being traded yet.
This is premature though when we're still early into the offseason. Some teams still need a QB, and we haven't even hit the draft yet.

So many things could happen before Week 1 of the season. So many things could happen in the next month. ---Jimmy could get traded tomorrow. Jimmy could get cut. Jimmy could get held onto. Trey could break his leg. A starter on a contending team could break his leg. A starter could suddenly retire.

Ask this question in a few months once this situation becomes clearer.

I think your inadvertently saying exactly the reasons why somebody should be held accountable.

If your serious about winning you need to push your chips in. You cannot spend 4 picks on lance then waste 40% of his rookie low salary cap hit on the bench.

If you have faith in Jimmy then do not waste the picks on lance (at least not 4 picks).

If they could not trade Jimmy he should have been cut with the least impact. For both salary cap and locker room reasons.

It's waffling. It's not decisive and trying to maximize the benefit for either lance or Jimmy.

This is why it looks like mismanagement. Because it is.

There's people who think it's some sort of 4D chess match that's being played but the reality is the simple answers are usually correct which is the FO just mismanaging.

That's also why I'm not tripping about this Jimmy G deal. It will work out like it always has.

But then again, since Lynch doesn't have a crystal ball and didn't pick Mahomes…..Fire his ass

No. But this isn't looking good for him. His tenure isn't as assured as Kyle

Why isn't it looking good for him? Because no GM is stupid enough to trade for Jimmy?

Right. As trade partners go, Bill O'Brien is not walking through those doors folks.

You'd look tired and sleep deprived too knowing you had Jimmy G at QB Lol
Lynch was dealt a bad hand with Jimmy's shoulder injury and the insane amount of QB movement this off-season, so I can't blame him for not being able to get anything for a player that has no value.

The real mistake was trading for Jimmy in 2017. I can't believe we fell for believing that the Patriots were somehow doing us a favor by giving us Jimmy for a 2nd. They probably shopped him to the other 30 teams and had no takers before they scammed us.

I am not one who typically calls for people to lose their job. I will say this though.

IF (yes IF),we were really offered two 2nd round picks for Jimmy and we turned it down, I believe Lynch should be fired. That is an inexcusable mistake, if true.

If it was in the same conference would you as well?

10000%

It'd be an even better deal to trade him within the conference. If anything they should have turned down any teams in the AFC and tried to get the Seahawks to take him.
I lose a few brain cells every time I read the webzone.

Beautiful Doc, absolutely spot on. Anyone who doesn't think the late shoulder surgery hasn't had an effect on Jimmy not being traded yet is foolish.

There were also better, healthier QB's out there to move first, the big thing that I didn't see coming were Trubisky and Mariota getting starting gigs. Along with Watson displacing a starting QB.

Baker is going to move next, and then we need to pray for a TC injury or the Steelers to come to their senses.

Absolutely none of this is on Lynch, as for any Free Agency moves or non moves, if Ward is a #1 CB and Trey is even half as good as I think he'll be we'll be fine.

31-15 is his win/loss with the team. Think on that.

And by the way, there have always been enough negative moaners covering the Niners, like the Cohn's. If there was the slightest chance there was any basis for your final paragraph one of them would have run it. As it is, you made it up to try to justify your opinion.

If Garoppolo has no value right now, it is because of the operation.
