Those are the biggest needs now. What would help the team the most would be edge rusher. Dee Ford can't be counted on. To have someone opposite Bosa could make this team awesome.

Unless he was super cheap he's not worth renting for 4,7,10 games a year. Would love to have him back and I wish he could stay healthy but you gotta look at the statistics and they say he's not going to make it through an entire season.

Agreed. Nobody is signing Verrett but us. 2 seasons in what...7 years now?

I've never said don't sign him. Verrett can be signed at any time. We should but he can't be counted on. Denard can. I hope it works out however because we'd have 3 starting caliber corners, possibly 4 with Thomas, and can still draft 1 or 2 more.

Yeah, SCB and outside CB is still important as Ward will most likely just end up being axreplacement for Moseley when he hits FA next year. This regime usually is a year-out (Banks for Tomlinson) in philosophy.

The Denard signing is helpful in that it assures an emergency DB who can also play ST. There are times during the draft when having one slot already filled means you can take a flyer on a project in another position of need. Denard allows the FO to make those kinds of choices. It is all about flexibility to go BPA instead of need, especially when you have a roster with just a handful of spots open.

Every Mock draft has us drafting two more CB's and Safety.

How many CB's do we need? We drafted a few last year.

I'm ok with a CB pick or two late but I'm hoping they use early picks on O line, S and EDGE
