My first Niner game was at Busch stadium when Ken Norton "boxed the goal post". I was wearing a Ken Norton jersey at the game. After game by team bus he spotted me, walked around barricade, thanked me for wearing his jersey and asked if i wanted him to sign it.
What did you say?
maybe i am wrong.. but i really do not think the rams played in busch.. i think they played in the dome they built for the rams after the cardinals left

That explains the shadows in the video. I checked and they didn't move into Trans World Dome until the 10th game of the season. It wasn't ready in time for the season opener.

He was a sales rep in Silicon Valley for several years. A sweet guy that hit hard. Hence the name. Cas Banasek also worked as a sales rep in the industry. Another really hard working nice guy.

I have a bag with grass from the end zone of candlestick. Took the family to the last fan day practice event at candlestick. It was a blast the kids got to run drills on the field. I got some great pictures of players and Alex Smith singed our football. What a great day!! I miss candlestick!

A close second is a signed Ronnie Lott football my Dad got for me.
Oh wow, that's awesome!!
Hilarious observation about Craig!

The year is 1982, my dad and I are in a Safeway in Diamond Heights, SF. I was 2 years old at the time....
There are 49ers there giving out team photos of the SB winning '81 squad to passersby. Bobby Leopold, LB, gave one to me and signed it.
I remember having it for a long time but don't know where it went. I'm sure we'll find it someday as my dad has kept stuff from the '50s intact.......some rather meaningless stuff too.
My favorite #52 until Willis came along!!
