Deebo or Bosa?

Jimmy has nothing to do with the extensions of either.

And both will be re-signed, so really that's the only correct answer.

With Jimmy still on the books it will force them to restructure and extend guys to get extensions done. Jimmy's contract effects them
Based on the poll, it's been a while since the zone has been this united

Let's also remember that Deebo is a 2nd RD pick and Bosa was the 2nd overall pick. If they had to choose there is no way they trade a guy they drafted 2nd overall who has performed like a 2nd overall pick who plays a premium position over a guy they drafted in the 2nd RD that plays a less premium position. Especially when the cost is going to be almost identical and Bosa is a year younger. This really should not even be an argument and I love Deebo. To put this in perspective the Niners could trade Bosa for the Jets #4 pick and they still wouldn't get equal value to what they did to get him, And that doesn't even take into account how much Bosa's value has rised since he was drafted.

This logic is hilarious. Ya because having 25 mil lying around doesn't make it easier. Keep listening to the talking heads. Of course it matters
Bosa.

Trey can transcend the loss of Deebo by himself.

Imo, if our FO doesn't sign Bosa AND Deebo, with all the shenanigans that goes on with the cap, and we don't make a deep run without them, I think heads should roll. I like Lymch, and Shanahan, even with his end game troubles, But if this organization can't get the two best players we have had in a decade then that is a bigger fumble than Ronnie Lott's

Not from what I've heard, extending Bosa will
likely lower Nick's cap hit on the season and Deebo's would be in the ballpark that it is now.

Why not both?

But seriously though, the 49ers are going through a low key rebuild. They're going to trade Deebo because it's gonna set a precedent not the FO, but Paraag is absolutely not going to set. The 49ers don't pay much more than their Paraag-designated value.

These fans are so moneyball conditioned over all these years they don't even realize we could easily keep both and so much more.

If they actually wanted to win it all.
Just for fun I have been doing mock drafts involving a Deebo trade and what I think we can get for him and to see what players we can get in the draft. So I did a trade where the Jets gave us 35,38, and 69 and after doing some trade down and trade back up I was able to get Pitre, Skye Moore, and Mafe with our 1st three picks. I love Deebo but that haul and what it could get us is tempting.
Bosa by 100 country miles.
Lol at this point
