I would rather have the Jets 35, 38, and 69 instead of just their #10 pick. The reason being is we can turn Deebo into 3 players instead of just 1. Yes we can always trade back with 10 but there is no guarantee a team will do that. There is going to be alot of talent available at 35, and 38. Could get a very good WR there and out safety, Pitre or Brister. Then can package the 69 with 93 or 105 and move up into the top 45 or so and grab our edge rusher, Boniito, Mafe, Ajabo, Jackson. One of those 4 should be there in that range. So we are turning Deebo into Skyye Moore/Dotson,, Brisker or Pitre, and one of those edge rushers I mentioned. And we would be back at 61 where we would have started without the Deebo trade.

If Deebo truly wants out and no chance he will sign long term with the 49ers, how about we offer him to the Saints for the 16th or 19th pick and Marshon Lattimore. We overhaul our DB room with the offseason additions of Ward/Lattimore and can pick best receiver available at 16 or 19. Some here may get their dream pairing of Lance and Christian Watson. Saints free up the cap room to take on Deebo and use their remaining first round pick on best corner available to replace Lattimore.

I like it
Yeah I like your idea of getting a star player in return. These draft picks are fun and all but the draft is a crapshoot in many ways. A proven stud corner would make me feel a little better about the idea of trading Deebo but I still do not want to do it. He is my current favorite player but over the years I have become less attached to individual players and its just ride or die 49ers baby! If Deebo does not want to be here and is going to force his way out eventually, getting a 1st a a star player is not a bad return.

High pick + player. No 10 might seem high but we got us a crabtree last time. Gotta get some solid return if we can't keep Deebo.

If Deebo is traded I could see them extending Bosa immediately afterwards as a way of saying "See we do pay our star players. It has nothing to do with money" Damage control. Probally give Bosa something like $32 Million per year over 5 years with $100 Million guaranteed. And there way of telling Deebo yeah you want to be the highest paid non QB, Nope not happening. At this point they will have the money to not only pay Bosa what he is worth but even overpay abit. Extend Bosa before Deebo's new team extends him so at no point Deebo can claim to be the highest paid non QB.

For DJ Moore straight up.
He's a better pure WR and $10 million cheaper per year.
I'd be Moore than OK with this.

This.
Panthers would have to take a heavy cap hit but do what you can to make this happen. Take on Darnold's contract and trade them Jimmy if you must. I trust DJ Moore to fill in Deebo's spot way more than random Mr. #6 from Who Knows Where University.

That's if the Panthers cut him. In a trade it's a 13.4 mil cap hit.
If you offer Jimmy G, Deebo, #61 and #105 for DJ Moore and Darnold, the Panthers will almost have to say yes. That's a better QB, arguably a better WR, draft capital in rounds where they desperately need it, and they get to unload a bad contract.

Not a bad way to try to improve this team after a massive loss.

So you give a better Qb better Wr a 2 and 3 for a worse WR and QB
To hell with that. AJ Brown and a 3rd for Deebo. Pay AJ and move forward.
