Potentially Carolina. Deebo plus Jimmy G for two first round draft picks and a second. Free up call space and get an extra 1 in the deal. More realistically one 1 and two 2's but one never knows

We need Deebo to be traded before the draft if we trade him. The homers are claiming Jimmy doesnt have value right now strictly because he isnt ready to play yet.
The timelines dont match up, if you are to believe Jimmy's value is tied to his recovery.

No no. You don't lower the value of your best asset by attaching a bad contract to that. Don't compound one mistake by making two.

I had the same idea...and it only works with CAR
Never in NFL history have you seen a QB/WR tandem from 1 team available in a trade
They already have chemistry and would be an instant boost to an offense (exactly what CAR needs)
They also have their own sets of trade warts to lower their trade value as individuals
No way in hell a single player gets CAR 1st rounder
The combo package makes it possible and we can eat salary in return for a bigger trade package
I would love
2022 1st rounder (6 overall)
+
2023 2nd rounder
And if they want us to eat salary we take Darnold but also ask for CMC or Burns

Deebo is an elite WR. If you can't keep him, and trade him for anything less than a Tyreek Hill haul, you've blown it and should be fired.

Not happening with Jimmy's contract. Unless you're okay with zero first round picks.

Dumbest idea I've ever heard. Jimmy lowers the value. #clueless

No. You trade Deebo for as much as possible, then you hope that someone Is desperate enough to give you anything at all for Jimmy

You would get less than just trading them separately or just cutting JG.

Can the Niners maybe offer paying part of Jimmy's contract?
Like either half his year and/or next, or maybe just this year's contract?
I'm pretty sure this can be done, because Kaepernick was going to be a Bronco if the Niners were willing to eat several million of his contract (which they didn't want to do).
I like the idea.
