we desperately need to hit on picks from 22-24 to get new stars who arent part of the old core drafted a while ago

If it doesn't feel awkward ragging on the front office for missing on draft picks while also agreeing they've built the best roster in football, it should 🤷‍♂️

Would have won a couple SBs by now if they hit on some of those higher end picks. I think it's fair to say they've missed quite a bit on those early picks and hit on some later ones

Who said that ? Not me. Salary cap hell will come next year and we need young cheap guys who are good.
The 2022 draft looks like ass besides Purdy

those picks sucked, but they've also hit ones out of the park. it would be weird if they hit a home run every time.

No one said they would need to hit a home run EVERY TIME

When you're a top-heavy team who is paying top tier money to a WR, DE, DL, TE, QB (incoming), and that core takes up most of your salary cap, and you have a good roster, you need to hit on at least *some* picks after, no ? Otherwise your core will get old and expensive and you will have no depth.

If you keep pointing to your old successes when Bosa is being paid 35 million, and there are very few recent successes, it kinda sucks for the future.

I AM a glass half empty guy so thats that

If it helps, I try to picture him at 50...like Al Bundy. "I once sacked a QB three times, in ONE game!"
Dang, I was hoping he would gain another 13 pounds of pure muscle this year so some zoners would declare him the 2nd coming of Charles Haley.

The dude was a decent college player, but watching him never showed anything more than potential in spurts. 2 of his sacks last year were gift sacks We all wish he had a better motor with constant effort.

Injury settlement I guess ?
Purdy is the only thing keeping that entire 2022 draft from being a disaster.
But what about his 3 coverage sacks?!?!

A reminder that this was the Niners first pick of the 2022 draft

The second pick was TDP and third pick was Danny Gray
