Somethin tells me if this dude was put on the field more our pass rush would see a big improvement. I highly doubt dudes like Jordan Willis and omenehiu are better pass rushers than a guy who was one of the top rated DEs in the last draft

At this point, Omenihu is a much better pass rusher than Jackson. Better in run defense as well.

The kid needs time.

At this point in his career, those guys are better than him. I mentioned it a few weeks ago, but some people needed to pump the brakes on Drake. All of Drake's sacks had been schemed or clean ups--neither of which are sustainable. Drake isn't at the point where he's consistently beating tackles, and without that, there is no pass-rush consistency.

Relax and let the kid grow. He's still in the infancy of learning how to rush the passer. He's got all the talent and coaching he needs to become a dude.
Needs to learn how to set an edge against a slow Ginger QB.

Excellent post Hero!!
He definitely needs more time than Willis. Dude is a waste of a roster spot.

I respectfully disagree, Willis may not show up too much on the stat sheet. But I've seen him pressuring the QB a lot more than DE's not named Bosa or Drake. I think he even has a sack.

Drakes gonna take some time. He's in the perfect scheme for his ability he just needs some seasoning. I'd like to see him work on his hands and get off. He'll be a pro bowl caliber player in a couple years IMO.
With six minutes left in the fourth quarter when the dolphins were only down six on third and two he was getting held and had hands to the face yet he threw up his hands again and batted down the ball to make it 4th down, where Greenlaw handled business.

This guy seems to be our only defensive lineman that can bat down balls. He is awesome at it by far our best guy we've had in years at the skill. Kinlaw was pretty good too.
9 snaps, but I felt like he made impact on those 9 snaps.
I still think he's out of shape... but I expect him to get 4 sacks against The 2nd Best QB of All Time !!

He hasn't had a full NFL offseason yet to transform his body. I expect him to be much stronger in year 2. Still he's making plays here and there and had a key breakup on that 3rd down.

he aint lean is putting it mildly

probably a rushed bulk from his time as tweener LB.

He can clean up his muscle to weight ratio I am sure
HE IS 5th in the NFL at batted balls and he doesn't even play 30% of the snaps.

Like I've been saying, he is elite at this skill and will only get better.
