#56 Austin Bryant looks small af. Geez, someone skips leg day. I left him off my final 53 and now seeing him, it may sound silly, but I am more convinced he doesn't make the final cut lol. Especially not over the more versatile veteran leader, Kerry Hyder, whose has the size to hold up against the run far better.

Jackson went from big ass kid to grown ass man in the off-season lol

Yeah, clearly he's so long, his role would be on obvious pass rush downs...not a base down ER for sure.

I agree. He has good football instincts. We desperately need a consistent pass rusher aside from Bosa. Ebukam was solid but wasn't durable.

Agree. Missing that piece since 2019. Thinking we could rent a vet with proven experience there so Jackson doesn't have to shoulder the load ihs second season. He should play his way into a starting role not get thrown in there in September.

Now that Smith is off the market for about 11 mil, who could we get on our budget? Don't get me wrong hargrave is a big step forward. But if we can just get that opposite Edge to contribute say six to eight sacks and a bunch of pressures we will be sacking the quarterback about four times a game every game.

The hope is Beal comes out as the next Aldon Smith.

What? lol. Every team hopes their drafted edge rushers turn into Aldon Smith
Double digit sacks for bro this year.
Two questions:
1. How quickly will he be drug tested, and
2. How many games will he miss because of it?

TOLD you all .. D-Jack looked out of shape last year .. even during his draft party, he looked out of shape.. and that's prolly why he was not used often .. This year, his body is more in football shape and with the right state of mind, he can lead easily have 14 sacks.

I think that shows the state of the USC program at the time. Not very serious and wasn't the same nfl factory it once was, it's changing back now. It's wild that the #1 athlete in hs can go there, have an okay career, then go in the fifth, then be an all pro (Hufunga). That's just sad. Lol now hopefully jackson is the next beast we get out of there. The kid has literally all the physical tools, coaching, and teammates ANYONE at the position could ever want. So if he doesn't have a breakout season, it's all on him.

There literally isn't a player at his position in the league that wouldn't kill for the situation he is in. It's remarkable and I'm glad he seems to be taking it serious. Plus, coach Wilks seems to be the type of Man he can use in his life. Coach him up on and off the field - make him into the stud he can be, mentally & physically.
