I'm expecting him to have between 5 and 7 this season. Anything less than 5 would be a little disappointing Tbh.
I will take his INTs over sacks

As long as he can get consistent pressure and set edges, that is what I mainly care about.

he SHOULD have a very productive year, not because he himself will be great, but because of the greatness around him. It'll make his job much much easier and direct. He'll always have 1-1 matchups. He's extremely athletic, he bulked up. I just don't see a reason why he's not very productive if he plays hard and utilitizes his incredible skill set.
Like I said before, all he needs to do is get 5 sacks and a PLETHORA of pressures to replace the pass rush of Ekubam

If I'm not mistaken Ekubam was once the top edge in run support as well.

I was waiting for OP to respond to admit I did take his words out of context as a joke.

I'm still not sure I agree with the logic fully but I understand what he was saying.

I just got here. You filthy immortal future of the NFL(southpark reference FYI)
With the rest of our DLine he won't be facing a lot of double teams.
He can't get a better opportunity than this for his career.

Krueger is absolutely glowing about Jackson, and how's he's looked recently. He said that Jackson is much bigger, but he looks way more explosive than before. I'm legit think this is going to be a historically good defense if we don't get hit hard with injuries. I don't know how the hell you can possibly stop them from breaking records if Drake also turns into a pro bowl caliber player.

That's why I specifically said replacing the pass rush of Ekubam which shouldn't be hard at all. He has never had over 5 sacks which is average at best. Possibly below average with our DL

Exactly, that's why I'm placing some high expectations on him. If he's the starter, he should get a ton of pressures and hopefully sacks. What's most important is that he applies a lot of pressure and sets the edge well.

but I 100% agree, he is SURROUNDED by pro bowlers and all pros, on literally all three levels. He had two all pros and a pro bowler lined up on the line with him. First round pick in Kinlaw & Ferrell. Huff in the secondary. Gipson was near the top of the league in picks. All pro/pro bowl linebackers.

i have high expectations for the situations he will be in

Agreed, definitely not set up for failure.

Huh?

He does kind of look like he's at the tail end of a dirty bulk.

This is partly why rebuilding his body is going to take multiple offseasons. He came into the league with his body significantly underdeveloped. It's going to be a process. Drake said he's just now hitting 3 plates on bench...
