I doubt it. But he might not be active. Its really between Ferrell and Jackson.
Ferrell has almost twice as many snaps as Jackson. They have more confidence in Ferrell based on that stat.
Well there's that.

With Saleh or Demeco, I believe Jackson could have a decent season as a situational rusher.
With Wilks... Jackson shouldn't even be active.
If you're not going to use stunts to highlight Jackson's athleticism, Drake shouldn't play.

Not a chance. They cut Anthony Brown to make room.

If he can't prove his worth as a strong rotational fill I see healthy scratch inactive like last year. Dude better try to add another 2 pounds of muscle during the season.

Dude can look like prime Ronnie Coleman and he still can't rush the passer with his weak technique. Only thing I've seen him do is clean up the mess Bosa and others provide or bat down a pass because he can't reach the qb

Sadly, Drake has turned out to be a disappointment. I really thought he was going to break out this year.

All these pass rushers but no big boy to stop the run.

Too bad Khalil Davis hasn't made it onto the field.

Jackson is still raw. He's only 22 and has been on the field for about 1/3 of the team's snaps. It may be too soon to cut him loose when he's still on that rookie contract. If you draft players that you know are raw and need to be coached up then you have to be patient and work with them.

I posted something about Davis in the Kinlaw thread. Don't get the continued use of Kinlaw who is consistently getting beat. I really think they spent all offseason hyping Kinlaw and the fact that he is healthy now but is still not producing. Nobody in the building wants to admit they should have cut and run last off season and benching him would be an admission. Play Davis can't be any worse.

He's only 22 but shows no signs of improvement. Typically, guys who eventually break out show glimpses of their potential along the way. Drake shows nothing.

usually a bad sign when your DE couldn't bench 315
