Yup, he Definity was lazy, but also he didn't fit.

The guys the 49ers currently have look very athletic and none of them look lazy, for sure.

we have done a great job of picking hungry and motivated players

we have a strong locker room

It's a good culture, and Poe, Burford and Zakelj - from what I could dig up on their bio - are workout warriors. That bodes well for their durability.

I really thought Zakelj looked physically soft during TC. Happy to be wrong. Can't wait to see how they all develop.

this kid is already our best OL..

What the s**t That takes a very very very strong person to do that to a 340 pound Woods . We found ourselves a very good lineman finally! Hopefully next year he moves over to right tackle when MM leaves

It's early but its possible the strength of the draft in the 2nd is tackle so if you can get a guy you really like at tackle he should stick at guard. If there is a top guard you really like though it's something to consider.

Lot to like so far.

Yup. Big man Burford got real low.

True but to start a rookie OT next year if we get one in the 2nd? I'm not so sure Kyle does that. Odds are that we may get the 5th Tackle at our position in the second round (pick 32 )

Depends on what the valuation is. Tackle position isn't top heavy but is potentially deep.

I'd expect a vet swing tackle signed to create competition if they go that route. Won't be handed to a rookie.

He did before with MM, but granted we were terrible then. I can see the vet for competition. Or Brunskill verses the rookie.

Wait pick 32? That'd mean we would have the #1 pick, but it would go to MIA.

He means 32 in round 2, 64 overall.
I could see Buford at RT and J. Moore at RG next season.

Hoping that Jaylon Moore can work out. A year of good health and more development and hopefully he can push for a starting job, at either position. I wish we had seen more where we wouldn't have to address OL early except for C, but here we are. I believe Shanahan did say he planned to play Moore at guard, but that was a year ago before we had Burford. We'll see where things are in May and July of next year.

Also a possibility.

Poe will be in mix too
Like what Burford is doing out there already!
