There was certainly contact, but IIRC, it looked incidental. He turned his head for the ball, though didn't quite make a play on it. I could see it being PI, but I could also see it not being PI. I'm curious what the rationale is.

This was a great play. Textbook job by Womack of reacting to WR's eyes/hands and attacking through the hands. This dude is a player.

Yes it was and this kid is for real. Dang he has a nose for the ball, and isn't afraid to fight for it. After deflecting the ball, his head immediately went up looking for ball. Outstanding. May be our best player out of this yrs FA, draft, UDFA, trade, et al…and at a position that was #1 (or tied for #1) as biggest need. Fantastic!

Definitely the 3rd best CB on the team with JV out. He's a pest. Always up into the WR.

If we have the usual major injuries at cb, if Ward Moseley or eventually Verrett can't play, Womack can play outside like he did in college and someone like Lenoir or dare I say Donte Johnson can play the slot. Now it's safe to say we have 4 very good cbs
