It is ridiculous to say he is better than K'Wuan in coverage before he plays a single real game.

Also, K'waun is much better in coverage than you him credit for.

Seriously

Just digged up the stats because i thought it was true he only allowed 1 TD with his tenure with the 49ers and allowed an average of 25 yards a game

Great post 👍🏻

Or Marcell Harris could be a starting safety

I see you're having problem understanding the word COULD BE.....

Shoulda STAYED IN SCHOOL !!!
Only concern is will the refs let him play in the regular season. He seems to be pretty physical with the wr's. Hopefully they have found there new slot cb for years to come. He might be the 3rd best outside CB as well.

He'll get some of those rookie flags until the regular refs get to know him. Hey K'waun went for the money, I don't blame him. I like this kid. He might lack "ideal" height but he has inspector gadget arms, and a nose for the ball

LOB taught me they can only throw so many flags per contest. Stay aggressive!

And, the 4.39 speed doesn't hurt him either

K'wuan was a dog his whole tenure here, last year was the only time I saw him getting beat often than not but Cooper and Kupp are absolutely savants at route running and tough covers for everyone. I'm already picturing it now how Womack would have sticky coverage on Kupp but because he's unknown in the league and rookie they will flag him against guys like Kupp and it'll be beyond frustrating.

Well we better be nailing Stafford prior to any yellow flags then
Kid has carried over his nice play from the preseason to the regular season. He looks like a good starting slot corner. Crazy, a couple months ago everyone was worried about our slot corner, interior OL and Safety play and so far we are top 10 in all 3 areas. Hufunga, Womack, Berfurd/Banks all could be very good young staples for this team the next 5+ years

Isn't that incredible!?! This is huge for us. All 3 of those cost of dearly last year and now they are looking like a strength. Huge!!!

I was hoping that Tartt would strike fear in opposing receivers going over the middle but it never quite materialized. Whitner was probably the last safety that was feared. THEY WILL NOW FEAR THE HUFFMEISTER

When he hits them, they will get up dizzy and woozy, like him

I wouldn't say he is better than K'waun in coverage just yet. He certainly looked amazing in pre-season. But K'waun has been really good for years. I want to see how Womack is doing in real NFL games. He is a rookie so I would expect some up and down early in the season. He will get tested for sure.

He is way better than K'Wuan in coverage already lol. K'Wuan was a tough as nails corners whose strength was tackling.

Sounds like he got benched.

He did, Lenoir was making a lot of tackles in the slot yesterday and Jeudy got him on a couple of plays, but not a bad game by Lenoir. Womack got 2 snaps on defense and his biggest impact in the game was forcing a fumble on ST.

Both look promising. Id still add another CB next year however. For one,you should draft one every year anyway lol. But also Ambry Thomas may not work out.

I wonder why he got benched? Anyone notice any bad play(s) from Womack?
