I think he does indeed leapfrog Kinlaw at some point in the season, JK will get all the opportunities to succeed being a 1st rd pick with likely his 5th yr option not picked up, but I have zero faith in Kinlaw. I like Davis, wanted to see him at the end of the season, but understand we had no spot, and he may have not been 100% ready, now he should be come September.
