Kinlaws was drafted to replace Buckner. He will be on some other team next year and we might get a conditional pick in 2025.

I don't think Davis is that type of athlete. DJ Jones was a freaken tank. Kalia doesn't have the bulk or strength that DJ Jones had. Kalia Davis's game is predicated on quickness. He's more like Kevin Givens than DJ Jones. That doesn't mean he's limited to Givens' ceiling or production, but that's who his game more closely resembles. I see him more of a penetrating 3technique than a true nose.

Agree. I think we draft our next DJ Jones in 2024.
Can he be a Chris Jones type of player?
He looked pretty good!
Coverage sack? Don't care! I'll take it!

I want him to be a DJ Jones type of player!!!
Stepped in for Armstead and had himself a pretty solid game.
He needs more playing time.
I was wondering when did Ty Mcgill get long hair. I didn't realize it was him until i noitced how excited he was over the sack. Give him some more time

I seen this guy busting his ass on every play, running long distance to try and make tackles down field.

This. Kalia gives me some confidence if AA needs to miss some time
DJ Jones clone, his height plays to his advantage, more playing time will show he's another great pick
He seems more of a stout run stopper than a quick penetrator.

Maybe a Wish.com clone. DJ Jones was nearly 20 pounds heavier than Kalia Davis coming out of college. DJ Jones was built like a tank coming out and crazy strong according to scouts. I believe he was the strongest dude in the weight room at Ole Miss.

It's pretty easy to see on tape. Don't take it from me. This is literally from his Kalia's draft profile.

One-gapping three-technique with terrific snap quickness that creates early advantages with the potential to become full-scale disruptions. Davis is a former linebacker with above-average bend, foot quickness and athleticism to create mismatches for lumbering guards. He needs more schooling and refinement as both a run defender and pass rusher to become capable of competing against the spectrum of talent he will see on the next level. He hasn't played much football over the last two seasons, but his explosive flashes could foreshadow a bright upside as a disruptive, upfield talent.

For whatever reason he reminds me of Sheldon Day
