What competition does he have? Brock will be ready to start fully practice basically week 1?
There is a possibility he ends up only really missing the post draft rookie ota stuff. MLB pitchers are back throwing after a month these days.
Brock could be back throwing by mid-May with their 3 month window, and ramping up from there. I am assuming the 3 month window we keep hearing is out of an abundance of caution.
So we know he will miss the rookie mini camp stuff.
OTA stuff starts late July, that is 5 months from now, or two months after Brock returns to throwing with assumed restrictions.
Week 2 of the preseason is that "6 month" mark or estimated end of his throwing restrictions.
September 7th is the start of the new season and a few days shy of 7 months from now.
The roadmap is there for an on time return with very little missed when it comes to training camps, but Brock could be slow to recover.....who knows...... almost 7 months until the start of the season he could have set backs and still make it back by week 1. Or he could recovery quickly and be throwing full bore in training camp...who knows....
