They have 3 QB's that I personally feel comfortable playing games and winning games. We just don't know exactly which one is going to be the starter with Purdy's injury. Lance will do well imo and has the most upside to make this the best offense in football

Lol love the name. That's funny.

yeah, the niners will def not be inept with either qb. If Purdy is what he was last season, we will have a top 5 offense very easily. If Lance improves, we should be top 10-12 offense at worst.

I love the fact that we have two capable young QB's on our roster in Lance & Purdy.

Jimmy G was the only option for the last few years, now we have guys that can push each other.

Ya and darnold has real talent. Nobody has a QB3 better than Darnold. Kids 25 years old I think he could either resurrect his career and become what he was supposed to be or become a phenomenal backup either here or somewhere else and get the 9ers a comp pick

I remember watching darnold live in college and with the jets - he was like Dr jekyl and mr Hyde. Hahah but clearly Uber talented.

i remember during the Jets game when he through there touchdown at the end (game was over essentially), I wasn't even mad - I literally said out loud "that was incredible. Can't even be mad about it".
Lol some of the convos about Brock & Trey are redundant.

1. 50 Cent is awesome
2. Not scared of any 49ers qb playing cept for maybe Johnson in the NFC game lol. Hot mess of a day.
3. Just win, who cares if it's Trey or Brock that does it. I love Brock and open to see what Trey is able to do.
4. LFG
5. GO NINERS

I'd say one very capable QB (Purdy) and a massive question mark who hasn't so far lived up to his draft status (Trey).

Pretty much. If I'm wrong about Lance, I'll gladly eat crow. That's the difference in here with most - they can never accept they had a wrong take on someone and make excuses for ever about it.

Lol that was def Josh Johnson's last play in the nfl. Poor guy, but even poorer us 😭😭
I'm still so amazed at Purdy's overall football awareness regarding what to do on certain plays when it goes bad etc. this mofo def read the league rule book lmao

There was one play, in one of his first two starts (maybe the MIA game), where RayRay and another player went in motion. Had the ball been snapped, it would have been illegal motion/shift. So he told RayRay to stop his motion, get set, then the ball was snapped. Had Brock just gone with it, there would have been a penalty. He changed the play mid-motion presnap.

22-year-old rookie making no look passes, hesi stepping defenders, playing through rib injuries and hyper knowledgeable of the NFL rules. BCB is something else.

That's called football IQ.

Ah! I remember when 22 years old was an excuse.

Another one was when the play was a screen and it got blown up by the defense. Instead of Brock throwing it away or taking a sack - he ran to the other side and out of bounds for a 2-3 yard loss.

at first, I was super confused but he didn't throw it away because the o lineman had already ran up field so it would have been a penalty of "ineligible receiver down field". He mitigated the loss on the play because of his football IQ. I was shocked. Lol most vets don't do that, especially not 7th round rookies.

It's plays like that where he minimizes negative yardage that don't go on the stat sheet, but contribute towards winning nonetheless. Very heads up player.
