I guess Kyle and John have "picked sides"

The people that like Purdy just like good football. They want the best QB to play. If someone comes along and plays better we will then pick his side. Only Trey fans have picked a side and the problems stem from them being bitter about our own players success

still dangling that carrot, i see

The truth hurts, I see

Purdy is not a guarantee also.. If Purdy doesn't start cleaning up somethings.. then we will be back to where we started (0 QBs)

as for Lance i haven't see that much to firmly stand on a side.. none of these QBs show that to me lol

You're absolutely right, he isn't, but there is so much about him that I like - I think he has all the intangibles.

for example, in highschool and college - he took programs to new heights that they've been and he was the key reason. They haven't been the same before or since. They relied on his arm and leadership. Carried programs and was able to get a lot of valuable experience (even heart breaking experience). He almost always had the lessor roster when going up against good high schools and colleges, and at worst made it a competitive game. He was able to go through those growing pains of what it takes to do that and he also made everyone around him better. He's done that at every level - even in his limited nfl experience.

he never played for a powerhouse at any level and elevated everyone around him. There is a lot to be said about that. Speaks volumes about his leadership, prep, play, everything.

just the fact a 7th round rookie came in and did what he did is mind boggling, literally unheard of. Lol

Will it continue to happen? Idk, but i sure as hell would like to find out. If I had to pick a pony out of our stable, that's an easy choice for me. I understand others will disagree etc and that's okay, there is nothing wrong with that. We are all on the same team here as fans.
i see the reason for your excitement and it was pretty exciting and a good story.

as for 49ers and NFL history.. it's just a flash in the pan. (Jimmy subbing in 2017 to starting 2018)

So far 😈 muhahahaha I'll wait until Purdy loses his first regular season game
Who the hell is bitter about Purdy succeeding?

What Purdy did is exactly what those of us who were critical of Jimmy were hoping a better qb would do.

I would hope no one is. I want six I don't care if Nancy Pelosi is the QB.

49erATT seems kinda triggered by the confidence in Brock.

Yea what's the point in downplaying what he did or saying he's a flash in the pan? Could you imagine another team have a rookie doing what Brock did and seeing their fans basically yawning at it lol there's definitely some resentment there. There's a reason the team and coaches prefer him over Trey. Just trust it

Doesnt read as triggered. More like let's wait and get a bigger sample. I would agree.

Been down this path with Kap and Jimmy. Need larger samples. Stuff Brock succeeded at was definitely more repeatable since it wasn't based on improv but still demands a larger sample.

Cautiously optimistic.

Nobody thinks he's a lock for the HOF, but f**k we should all be excited. I know I don't feel the need to come in here toning down the excitement

Just want to see Brock come back healthy and play like he was before the injury. If he does that I think we'll be fine.
