Again, I pose the question, does Dirty win the Come Back Player of the Year Award?

I highly doubt it. He really didn't miss any time to be in the running imo. While also never had been established then had down years to come back from.

If Demar Hamlin plays at any level he's going to win that award hands down.

You don't think missing OTAs and Championship game is missing time?

Well I think the award is for people who missed time in the regular season. Idk though. I'll have to look into it

Has anyone, been following the Warriors? Really, exciting the way their playing right now. Joker, today, followed by Sac. Great games coming up for playoff seeding.

Yeah, I have. I'm hoping they move up a spot in the seeding so they don't have to play Memphis in the first round. I also hope Wiggins comes back.

He technically didn't miss the championship game. He finished the game. Albeit handing off.

The fewest games missed by a CPOY is 6. 0% chance he wins CPOY

You might onto something, Mayo. I still doubt he qualifies but doesn't seem to be any specific criteria
i looked up a few different articles/websites and this was the same answer I kept seeing.
"While the criteria for the award is imprecise, it is typically given to a player who shows perseverance in overcoming adversity from not being able to play the previous season, such as an injury, or for playing well in comparison to the previous year's poor performance"

They're the 5th seed right now, that's the perfect spot for them. Even though, they're a .500 team, everyone is picking them or the Suns, to win the West. The Warriors have earned that respect. If they win it all again, I'm going to frolic down Market Street naked to celebrate. Warriors, Niners and Giants. Great to be a Bay fan, right now.

Nobody cares about that. You act like Joe and Tom scored 30+ every playoff game. We just saw Tom win a SB scoring 13 points.

What you should be looking for is how he conducts himself. He was in a bloodbath playoff game. Top 2 defenses dvoa playing at the top of their game.

Brock was never shaken. The moment never looked too big. He just stayed the course, and by the 4th quarter you could tell we had their souls. We had wore them down. The team with the vet QB was the team that folded.

Not every game is some high scoring affair. What's amazing is a rookie QB kept it together, and by the end of the game wore down a top defense. I'm telling you right now Kyle and John were blown away, as was I.

100% agree with you, its how he conducts himself you're absolutely correct. Lets not forget and how this is overlooked by a lot is that he was a rookie 7th round pick last season. A lot of NFL head coaches and ex-NFL HC's couldn't believe how poised Brock Purdy was last season, (and I hate to bring this up) but if it were Trey Lance who won, we would be talking about how he was 19/29 214 yards with a 65% cmp/pct.

Brock was just amazing last year. If Kyle can keep him upright and healthy by doing everything he can to keep him healthy, this kid will have a great and long career. I think Kyle is smart enough to do that - change whatever he has to change - for that to happen. As for Brock, he's already deep into the playbook and football at this early stage of the offseason. In the podcast he's already working on his footwork, which is critical for accuracy and sound mechanics. This guy could be a legend in the making.

Totally agree, he could be a really great one, I just love how poised he is. I also love that he's working on his craft, he knows that it's not a given he's the starter again when he's healthy.

Last year, you could see it all click for them as the playoffs started and they were finally healthy. I don't think they can do it without wigs though :/ I hope he comes back.

im glad they got GPII back this year though.

you see the new CBA rules!? They're BS. They targeted teams like the warriors with some new rules. I don't think you should be penalized for paying homegrown talent. Only talent you bought in free agency or so.

oh CHIT!!' He looks like he's back! 😍😍😍

I was Brock hard when he said he's been studying film, formations/motions, his footwork etc. this man is one arm down and in the middle of a major rehab - still doesn't stop him 😎.

factor in his contract/personality, we stuck gold, 1949 style 😈

Payton Jr., Kuminga, Di Vechenzi, Green and Lamp, they're all are all awesome, and fill the teams needs, perfectly.

Fun fact from Frelund at NFL.com: Will Levis had the highest recorded ball speed of all 2022 college QBs - 58 MPH.

Brock Purdy at 56 MPH is not far behind.

Damn, seems like this draft class doesn't have too many guys with a strong huh. I mean that's more than good enough, it's just interesting.

Damn, seems like this draft class doesn't have too many guys with a strong huh. I mean that's more than good enough, it's just interesting.

According to a Buffalo source, Josh Allen stills hold the combine record at 62 MPH. (Kaepernick was 59 MPH at the combine.) Mahomes was 60 MPH. (One report had Justin Herbert at 55 MPH at the combine.) There have been very few others that threw faster than 58, according to my research. The average NFL ball speed is 54 MPH, according to verious sources.

It seems there is a lot of misinformation out there as to what constitutes a "strong arm." However, as far as putting some mustard on the ball when needed, Purdy has shown he can do that as well as anybody short of Allen and Mahomes, and a small handful of others.

Now, when he comes back with his bionic arm, and fueled by his intense work ethic to improve, he may blast right by Josh Allen.
