It is a small sample size, but what is causing this discussion is even a smaller sample size by Brock.

Both guys are under contract. I dont think there's much of a discussion to have. People had Jimmy resigning here for $40M a year or so just a couple weeks ago.

Saying the same now that I said then: allow things to play out.

The real test as always, is going to be in 4 or 5 games once defenses have had enough tape to figure out what he can and can't do. Jimmy looked like the next coming of sliced bread, until defenses figured out he can't throw deep or to the sidelines. We'll start seeing what Brock's weaknesses are soon, and if he can adjust and overcome. But until then, he looks real

Let's hope we win the SB before that happens.

Defenses will have a tougher time doing that with Purdy because he is more aggressive with his decision making. He chooses the short passes as last resorts in most situations.

the big question will be can he continue to identify what the defenses throw at him and make the right read. I don't think he's succeeding because he's favoring anything. I think he's reading the defense and reacting, like a boss.

Facts. Plus it's been two weeks in a row of defenses sending crazy pressure at him, and he's excelled. I think we'll start seeing less pressure and more drop 8 guys into coverages to see if he can break down a defense. If he can continue to move the ball against that, we might have the real deal

14-18 and 185 yards (10.3 yds/att) , 2 TD with 146 QB rating in the first half. By the second half, we were already in control and we could have had more if it was a close game. The Offense just looks more explosive under this rookie.

He started 4 years in college up until last year so they should have plenty of film. Lance started 1 year in college 4 years ago.
He's nice but he's not a 5th round draft pick like some of our current all-pro 49ers so IDK just yet.

Then our running backs will feast 😏 muhahaha
but you're right, If he can still make these kind of throws in that situation, we may be looking at something here.

Brady gf be like.."Can I have Brock's cell number?"

" 🥱 "
