Brock is like that really nice guy, that everyone loves, and then he meets your girl and slowly steals her away from you. Before you know it, she's telling you that she's in love with him and hammering her.

Sounds like tankle wants to send a letter to the penthouse forums

Oklahoma DL Perrion Winfrey delivers huge hit on Iowa State QB

I was watching YouTube and this random video of big hits came on, and it showed this play.

I watched a decent amount of Purdy's games but I never saw this one.

If you needed further evidence this kid is tough… here it is.

Yeah, he took some brutal hits in college. He's def tough. As long as he isn't broken, he will play. He played through a lot in college too.
knew the kid was a tough son of gun when he played injured in Seattle after the Tompa game.

He just kept saying it was a "little sore", when I'm reality he could throw the ball. Toughed it out and it didn't even seem like he was hurt. Actually towards the end of the game you see him favoring it.

i think he's going to be super sharp and aggressive this year, I think people are going to be surprised. He was 13-13 today in practice and yesterday he had an amazing sequence in move the ball drills.

he's progressed really nicely since camp started, seems he is really feeling himself and the offense rn

This week is probably a full dry run for the season start, evaluation is probably all but over, they are installing game plans and treating this as a normal week as if the game matters. I suspect they pulled out all the plays they don't intend to use this week. The playbook was probably cut 3/4ths or more, they probably installed the game plan in a meeting before practice so everyone was on the same page before they ran the plays.

It sounds like a "ball did not hit the ground practice" It has been decades since that was a regular occurrence. Back in the Young/Rice days was the last time we heard regularly about flawless practices.

I honestly did not expect that from a Brock Purdy lead team, dude seems like a risk taker....you dont normally associate "clockwork" or "precision" with risk takers.

As far as tough goes, yeah...Brock is built a bit different then most. We are all use to QBs telegraphing pain to the cameras....as in...dont blame me...look how much pain I am in as I miss this throw....not really from 49er QBs, just in general from the league. Meanwhile Brock got his arm snapped off, and is still out there.

Brock is young, Brock is going to make mistakes, Brock has flaws and is not a perfect QB.....but damn.... Brock does have some really desirable traits his toughness being one of them.

I think kyle does a great job at that and I commend Jed for giving him that space to can picks quickly if he really feels like it was a mistake or there is a better player. Owners typically get involved with that and don't like it.

I really like the chemistry between Jed-Kyle-Lynch
