Fields is a player, and they revamped his WR room, but this here is BPs team, and we have it better than anybody as they say, with our skill guys. Gonna have a big year.

Is it safe for our fanbase to buy Brock Purdy jerseys?

Is it ever safe to invest in QBs jerseys while under Kyle Shanny's tyranny?

All those poor #5 jerseys owners... the 9ers should allow fans to return the official ones bought at the team's store to have the names replaced.

To be fair, Fields had 2 very good rbs, a good TE and a very very good run blocking OL. Claypool is a good #2 and Mooney was a 1000 yard wr

Brock could easily be the best qb to come out of the last 3-4 years. I think he is by far bc Lawrence still is not too accurate and throws some disturbing ints.

Praying that Purdy recovers well, keeps up his performances from last season and isn't just a flash in the pan. Otherwise we may well see another season derailed due to a lack of QB talent.

I've never purchased an active NFL player's jersey for this reason. I wait until the players career is over and then decide if I want the jersey. I would love a Bosa or Warner or Kittle or Purdy jersey... I'll consider buying them once the players are done playing.

So far, only Montana, Rice, Young, Gore, and Willis jerseys for me.

Yeah, he also hasn't fumbled it in the pros. Hopefully he continues does a good job holding on to the ball.

Purdy has already had more good games than Fields has had lol. It's crazy.

"but but but Fields' supporting cast sucks!" and? He can't throw the ball consistently at all. And that's coming from someone who badly wanted us to pick Fields from the moment we made the trade.

It's pretty obvious one of two things will happen:

1. Purdy balls out, he becomes the franchise QB.

2. Purdy fizzles out, we sign Cousins after this season for ~3 years and spend that time looking for another QB.

As someone who has a soft spot for Cousins and wanted us to trade for him back in 2017… scenario 1 is way, way better than scenario 2. Scenario 2 would mean we're still in QB purgatory.
