QB Brock Purdy Thread

Purdy is clearly the best 49ers QB since CK and probably better than him as well. I think I'd say he's our best QB since Garcia.

Crazy that he fell so far in the draft.

It looks like Trey stans are so tilted that they're paying Indonesian bot farmers to slander BCB on Twitter.

i personally am choosing to look at the season like 2019, where jimmy played all year vs all the horrible bad luck we've had the other years. We finally have a guy that looks legitimate, I'm not going to waste my time about what could go wrong, I'm more focused on what can go right.

Injuries are way too random to predict that there will be a when. But every player is one hit away from being hurt.

Brock just needs to be smart about things. He's the season.

How much longer do we have to hear these stupid terms like Trey Stans, Jimmysexuals, etc.? Can't we all just rally around Brock and be done with it? At least until he inevitably blows it and we all turn on him.

Yeah, Brock needs to find that like where he pushes plays to try and make something happen Vs killing the play and moving on. There are times he puts himself in position to get hit hard because he's making a play. Those plays worry me

Purdy is lookin really good and crisp, like he's ready. offense moved well with him in too. Led the team down the field back to back. If it wasn't for a fumble by the running back, it would of been back to back touchdown drives.

He looked really good tonight. He's ready. Next step is to get Bosa back and signed up long term. Agree with you on the potential back to back touchdown drives. Purdy is so much ahead of Trey, it's the difference between a rookie QB and a 7 year vet, in my opinion. If there was no Cap, and Trey wasn't able to leave the 49ers - Trey would probably take more than a couple of years to get as good as Purdy is currently now. I don't think Trey would be able to overtake Brock - realistically - if Brock also continues to improve and get better every year that Trey also improves and gets better.

Brock is grounded way beyond his years.....

Brock's post game interview is something else.....

he said something to the effect of "I don't worry about who is one or 2 or 3...that stuff will consume you if you worry about it and effect how you play...."

He also said something to the effect of "I am focused on my play, not beating out 3 of 2 or 1"

It will never stop. On a side note, sure felt great to have a QB on the trade block actually generate interest.
