That's a good question, I hope the players vote him in as a captain (if he deserves it). when do those get announced?

I wouldn't be shocked if he was.

Same, that Miami game. When ya know, ya know:). That Tampa game was the icing on the cake. 🧁 It's like where were you when, Brock stepped onto the scene? 😃 Ironic he started in a Miami game..which was Marino's team, wearing the same number...and Marino is his fave qb....kinda like, fate. 💕 Just glad Miami didn't get him though lol

For me, it was the Buccaneers game.

Tampa came on the corner blitz on the first play and drilled Brock, and he took it like a champ, then proceeded to b straight up destroy them.

That's what sold me. A lot of QBs would be weary after a hit like that, and Brock shrugged it off like it was no big deal.

Yeah, it's a completely different feeling when Brock is on the field. idk how to explain it. When I was watching him in that dolphins game, I just couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe his poise and it looked like he was a 10 year vet out there, felt like that too. Just felt special and I hope he is.

hahaha yeah, that's funny. When I was in Highschool, Joe Montana came to one of our home games cause we were playing Cardinal Newman and I guess he was privately coaching the QB, so he came to watch him. our whole school knew but we kept getting told to not go up to him... I was like "yeah.... riiiite. you're out of your mind if you think I'm not going to go up to him". So i sat on the visitors side and saw him with his wife and a friend of his, I kinda inched closer and then when the game ended, I walked up to him and just said i was a big fan and it's really cool to meet him - he stuck out his hand and shook my hand and said he appreciated it. I was the only person that got to meet him, he got up and left right after that and all these older men were like "can I shake your hand? I just saw you shake montanas!" and i was like get outta here. haha

My Montana story involves his retirement ceremony (I've never met him).

I was in 6th grade and his retirement ceremony was over my school's lunch period. One of the teachers knew I was a huge 49ers fan and let me watch it during the lunch recess period. The ceremony ran over by about 30 minutes and he let me watch the whole thing and wrote a note explaining to my teacher why I was late.

Aww that's so cool you got to meet Joe! Such an awesome story, jealous! lol

Oh I love that Montana story! Ya, I forgot about that corner blitz hit, damn. A baller. Came back to bite them!

I think it is likely he will be a Captain. He isn't Trey.

Are you Cowherds daughter or something? Your obsession with Trey is weird man, let it go, you got your wish and he's gone. No need to bash him with every post in every thread anymore

All I am saying is he is QB1 because of his performance on the field, not because he is being handed the job without competition. That is the big difference.

I don't need to say good things about Trey in this forum. He is a Cowboy. You can go to a Cowboy forum if you want to hear good things about him.

How many more Trey posts before you let it go? Just so we have an expectation.

It will be telling if the players do vote Brock Purdy as a captain. Last off season the players didn't exactly sound confident in Trey when speaking to the media.

Oh that's what you meant with "I think it is likely he will be a captain. He isn't Trey?" Got it.

That is a good question. Why Juice though? My list would be Purdy, CMC, Greenlaw, Deebo or Huff
