He was adamant about us getting him. Ive read that Griese was the one that found him. Then him and Slowik did a lot of homework and showed him to kyle. I thought Klint Kubiak was part of it too but maybe Im mistaken on that.

Sounds about right. Such a good story on Brock so far.

If Brock Purdy has two more consecutive regular season games of 2+ passing tds - he will tie the franchise record set by Jeff Garcia of 8 and surpass Joe montana and Steve going on the franchise record list of 7 each.

pretty incredible that he has never had less than 2 passing touchdowns in a regular season game. Lol let's get it! He'll keep it alive on the Steelers

also, fun fact. Brock was 30-17 as a starter in college. Same record jimmy had here as the starter. Lol pretty impressive that he was able to lead Iowa state to 4 consecutive winning seasons - something that program hadn't had in literally 100 years…

Brock can scramble for a 1st anytime a defense plays man in a 3rd and short. His mobility in short areas is going to be such a huge asset. YAC Bros in a scramble drill situation is going to be deadly.

When you don't have that....you sure miss it....

Think of ALL those Steve Young, or Garcia 1st downs...it almost feels like free offense.

If Steve could not scramble, those Dallas years would have been absolutely miserable...not sure we would have been in those games.

Cool! So I'm not losing my mind just because I want the season to start. Hahaha thanks! Yesh the story I've read that it was kubiak & Griese who really fell in love with him and then started loopin others in.

Kyle essentially farmed the task of finding a going and to draft and develop in the background behind Trey. If worked out better than we could of hoped!

He's no Steve or Jeff in the mobility factor but he's very crafty and nimble like Aaron Rodgers.
