Welp, it was a major injury. At least we have the most talented thrower of the football
And for what it is worth, BP looking good, probably just a bit of soreness, and as time goes forward, he should be doing better and better.

A pitch count sure the hell is a restriction. I had been the guy believing everything the FO says up until now, but damn. Another puzzle piece of the Sam Darnold signing just fell into place.

A pitch count sure the hell is a restriction. I had been the guy believing everything the FO days until now. Not sure what to make of any of this, other than understanding more of why Darnold was really signed.

That announcement was a lil of a farce on it's face.. cleared with no restrictions, however here are a list of restrictions..

In any event, if he can go out and ball on gamedays, that's all that matters. He can take a rest day, you get a lot of those during the season.

Sam Darnold fanboys may just get their wish.

My take, BP is an ironman. In order to start every game every year, you have to play thru stuff. BP played thru the broken ribs, and we didn't even know about it at the time. Just went out and balled. It took a lightning strikes type injury, and it doesn't strike twice imo, so BP will give us 17 games is my prediction, and 4000 yards.

How is protecting our starting QB funny?

I think 9moon has a penchant for jumping to conclusions. Just maybe, lol.

he had practice day limitations after that announcement you linked. then those were lifted two weeks ago. Purdy recently discussed he's still on a pitch count. so it's not a surprise. no doubt that will be lifted in time as well. Purdy and the team have managed this perfectly so far.

To me, I think it's cool how on even the good plays - there are a lot of things he can improve upon. He will just get better and better.

Well the team did say he is cleared without restriction but they were going to put him on a pitch count to play it safe.

Might have to do with his knee collision in the game. I'm sure the reporters will ask about it today.

One thing is for sure, can't believe whatever Brock says. Lol he said he just had a little soreness when he had broken ribs and couldn't barely throw. Lmao

Yessir, he's what we call a gamer. So it's gonna take something real deal, like his throw arm blowing up again. I don't see that happening. He's gonna be fine, and do great. I thought he would be getting cleared for action about now, which would have been wayyyy different for SF. So he was a long ways ahead of schedule in the first place.

Watch that JTO breakdown. Lightweight infuriating, lol.

Yeah, seven step drop in the pre season that nearly got Brock's elbow hit by a DE again. Super close.

i agree with him that a 7 step drop in preseason is an unnecessary risk.
