Guess we should have never moved off Jimmy then.

No, Brock was a better option so they moved on from Jimmy and Trey.

Duh

On another note. Have you ever heard the term "take what the defense gives you"?

The Cowboys played a 4-3 defense and left the edges open. Purdy didn't hit any deep or intermediate pass outside the numbers.

LOL. 20 yards are deep passes now? We have the best skill players by far in the NFL and we're somehow content with 5 yard dink and dunks. I have hope that Purdy can extend his game but if he can't, this is worrisome for our Super Bowl odds.

Why not be content with winning?
Agree 100%. This whole debate/argument is reminding me of the 80's when Joe was QB. There were 'fans' that complained when the team won that they "should have scored more points" LOL The HC/OC are going to employ what they need to win, nothing more. Why expose your whole toolbox so that the next opponent gets a heads up on what you might do? The most solid strategy is to only show what is necessary to achieve the goal, winning. Same reason poker players don't show what they are holding unless called, don't want to give anything away. Go Niners!

Still unbelievable that Brock took over and mastered Kyles offense as a rookie. That is so insane. All we need now is Bosa signed and this is a playoff bound team. (As long as the injury 🪳🕷 doesn't bite either one).

I still remember the '94 team just getting a lead by halftime and pretty much calling 80% run plays (in certain games) the rest of the game and coasting to a bunch of wins. Thats another way to not show your entire tool box to the next team.

I don't think he mastered it yet, just did a really good job of understanding it and executing it, while incorporating his instincts. I think he still has a lot he can improve upon and it'll show this year. Especially since the offense is tailored to his skill set now.

i expect even more efficiency and sustained drives, more decisiveness.
Everyone clowning on kyle regarding lance debqcle and the jimmy shade

I think us losing Ricky Watters the following year really hurt us. Even more so that Deion Sanders.

hahaha he's not wrong. This has been a very strange situation qb wise. Like I said before, jimmys probably like - really? This is what you dumped me for? And you couldn't even dump me!? I left the same off season the guy you tried to replace me with left??

sucks cause I don't think Jimmy has much love for this organization but a lot of fans have love for him. I'm more disappointed in how they handled him than Trey. At least Jimmy was a good qb and did a lot for us. Trey did absolutely nothing and burned a good guy for us.

let's hope Brock stabilizes this place man.
Who would have thought Brock would have been able to participate in TC & PS and be fully ready to go at the start of this season? Just seems surreal after suffering that type of injury.

Yup I really thought the fball gods were taking Brock from us. Looks like they are taking Moody instead.

Same. It's really remarkable.

I did, I called it since about March. I said he would be limited initially but I wasn't sure how that would look.

if you looked into the rehab process, the timing of when he would be able to start throwing normal and all that. It made sense to me.

I think it's more that Jimmy wanted to stay as a 49er but then they go and get Trey to replace him and then drafted Brock who really DID replace him. Otherwise, I think, everything being equal, he'd rather be a 49er than a Raider.

I remember reading that it could have been anywhere between 6-9 months initially. I bet you were in the minority.
