Damn I love Purdy and am so excited!! if we can stay healthy, watch out. This team is going to be a force to be reckoned with - the vets are tired of "almost" winning it all. If we can stay healthy, we should be favorites for that chip.

The fact that Purdy even has it in his bag to pull that off shows you he can play outside of structure. If he didn't - it wouldn't have happened.
Absolutely it would, but I kind of think it could be beneficial it didn't happen. With the type of season Purdy had, it's weird he's not presumed to be the next big thing by the media and your casual NFL fan and he's going undrafted in most fantasy leagues.
I like that people are underrating him TBH.

Yeah, I like it too. Even though he seems to do well with pressure and expectations - it's nice to not have media expectations surrounding him. I think it really has to do with his draft slot more so than anything. Let teams underestimate him - he's going to burst onto the scene this year and it's going to more beautiful than last year was. He will be sharper and more efficient - good luck stopping this juggernaut of an offense, folks.

In that TB game I watched last night, Greg Olsen and Kevin Burkhardt kept marveling that "this rookie starting his first NFL game is looking like a 10-year veteran QB." One of the things they mentioned was the reaction of the 49er sideline to the plays he was making and how the D on the sideline was just saying, "Yeah, that's what he does. He was doing it to us in practice, the best defense in the league. No reason to think he won't do it to other teams."
Given his work ethic, he is only going to get better.

That might be my favorite part of this story.
This no name mr. irrelevant QB had already won over one of the best defenses.
Our defenders knew he could do it because they already saw it in action.

if he is not exposed, they will just pivot to "well look at his weapons and with kyle calling the plays of course he is successful"
Most punchable face ever.
