Lol Brock called that TD to Aiyuk "the deep ball"
Not even close to a deep ball lol. Great catch by Aiyuk on great coverage on a good throw by Brock. I like that he had the balls to throw back shoulder on that medium range ball.
You and Grant Cohn would get along great.
You think that second TD to Aiyuk classified as a deep ball? Great play on great coverage but that was not deep. It was 19 f**king yards.
Lmao.
It was a 19 yard touchdown pass because of where the ball was spotted. But he threw it closer to 30 yards in the air. Anything over 20 is considered a deep pass. But that's beside my point.
You're in here pretending to compliment Purdy when it's clear you're trying to throw shade. Which is what Cohn does, hence why I said you'd get along.
Not throwing any shade at all. You and others are oversensitive - come on we all know that was not a deep ball and we weren't at a spot on the field for that to be a deep ball. So it was humorous that he referred to a 19-yard pass as a deep ball when obv it wasn't. Nothing wrong with Brock on that play I was jumping around with my brother when Aiyuk caught that both of us saying how sick a throw that was back shoulder and giving your best receiver a chance to go get it.
Not to mention you know what people mean when they say they like the deep ball and it doesn't mean a 22 yard out or comeback or curl etc. But that's beside my point.
Brock is our only chance at winning the Super Bowl and if he goes down we are completely f**ked no different from last year in the playoffs.
He was making a joke about Peterson and referenced the 2nd touchdown, "the deep ball," to differentiate between the short one which was the in route. He wasn't trying to give himself credit for throwing it deep or whatever weird accusation you're making.
Do you know what a 10 yard out is called? A deep out. Does that mean it's a "deep pass?" No. It's to differentiate from a quick/speed out.
And sensitive, really? We have a legit franchise level QB and the best roster in the NFL. No one is sensitive. We're simply sick of having to defend our QB from our own supposed "fans" who can't get over their weird love affairs over other QB's who couldn't cut it. I was a huge Jimmy fan and Trey as well. They're gone and neither can hold Purdy's jock strap.
Get over it, let it go, or stay out of the thread. But if you choose to be talking crazy like this, then expect to be called out over and over.
