When Purdy breaks contain and enters scramble drill mode, this offense becomes very scary. This is an element to the offense that had been missing. Saw it two or three times yesterday.

I thought that db on his blind side was going to crush purdy, instead, a first down toss

Yep and why would he open up the full playbook when he doesn't need to and would rather hold off and use things against the Rams the following week.

That play was incredible. Nice mitts from Deebo too.

I love how Purdy baited the DB. I think he saw him coming in his peripheral and knew exactly when to drop the spin move. Very cool to finally see a SF QB drop that move.

Not just any DB, that was Minkah Fitzpatrick.

you don't think there is a correlation there? you really must be new to football

Brock couldn't really do much after his second TD. Maybe Pittsburgh figured something out but he couldn't move the ball at will like his first 3 or 4 drives.

You really don't understand football...

Yup, 3x first team all pro Minkah Fitzpatrick.
Brock will only get better and better. Pretty exciting times!!

Arm Strength is one of the most over-rated things in a QB. Jim DruckenMiller had incredible "arm strength".

I always take Brees as an example. Not the strongest, but dude put up buka yards for like years. It's about timing and accuracy. If you can't compute that then you don't s**t about how Joe won 4 SB's.

He reminds me of Brees or a young Montana. He has all the arm strength you need. You need great processing, make the right decision, make an accurate throw. All stuff Purdy does super well.
No reps with the first team in 2022. Does his hard work in the off season, gets put into the game without any warning, wins the game, does not lose again (except the NFCCG). Off season surgery, comes back and doesn't seem to have lost a step.
He has not been the starter yet, for one full season. In my opinion, he is still a rookie.
Give him time, and I think he will improve even more.
Let's hope for the best.

That's a great point. Peterson gave up some TD's but he definitely knocked down some of our bread & butter passes to kittle and I believe Juan who are both dogs.
coming back from that injury and doing what he did is incredible

I hated the announcers every time he takes a shot they act like he's made of porcelain.
Does he qualify for potentially being a Comeback player of the year?
