I was worried about some of the hits that Brock took yesterday. That fumble that he managed to grab behind his back really concerned me. He really had to contort both elbows to accomplish that.

There came a point in the game where Shanahan really dialed the offense back. I didn't see Purdy attempt many more deep passes, but also noted some of his short throws came up short or were a bit off target. I just hope that isn't due to any elbow damage. I suspect the 49ers won't say much if there is a problem, unless it becomes apparent.

Yeah why did Darnold come in to take the Victory formation snaps, so Brock's fantasy numbers won't look bad (-1 rush yards per Victory formation snap)?

Yep, I am thinking all of this. Concerned

There comes a point where the backup gets called upon to receive a share of the glory. But, the 49ers are really good at hiding things. If Brock hurt that elbow, the fan base won't find out about it until we hear a surprise announcement that Darnold has been elevated to starter.

If they wanted to hide something they would have sent Brock out for the victory formation - he doesn't need his elbow for a kneel down. This isn't some big conspiracy. You're looking for something that isn't there.

What causes other teams fan bases and the media to continue in some cases? Especially other fan bases. I've never seen a guy play this great and be put down this much. I'm sick of it. It's BS. Because of draft status and how the last pick is named? Because he's not 6'4" 225 lbs.? Because his face looks young? Because they want to be right? They want the narrative they originally heard and believed to be right? It certainly can't be how he plays. How consistent he is. How great he processes, makes the right decisions and throws accurately. I'm sure it can't be that. I'm sick of these guys. Especially other teams fans. "He's just in the right system." "He's lucky." "The NFL will catch up to him."

If you don't like Brock hate, I'd avoid twitter if you aren't already.

WOW, the stuff on that gets regurgitated on that platform...especially by other team's fans before we play them.

No it's even other friends. Who mostly watch other teams. Have rarely seen him play. They just have no idea. They are hung up on his draft status and what it's named, his size and stature, and his very young boy face (LOL). They just don't believe. Mostly they don't even watch him and have no idea he plays like Drew Brees. But they annoy me. It's bugging me now. Dude is phenomenal. The real deal.

Does he just have to keep winning? Win a Super Bowl? What will shut these fools up?

I do have family members that are Raider fans that think Brock looks fantastic and are jealous.

Should I just laugh all the way to the Super Bowl? What's the best way with these guys?

But like you're not a dr, I am guessing, no offense. Not sure why they would hide that anyway. It appeared that he tweaked it after the fumble recovery when he was messing with his arm and hand. He had a major injury, not something to take lightly

I love that Raiders are jealous, when they won the preseason game, they came outta Allegiant like they won the damn superbowl. And talked smack, I smacked back, "Um, this is preseason, it doesn't really count and btw, you got our leftovers.."(meaning Jimmy G) lol.

Unfortunately there's risk involved with playing QB. You can't control everything. You do your best to avoid unnecessary hits and putting your QB in bad spots but at the end of the day he's going to have to prove he can stay healthy and weird situations are going to happen (ala a fumble recovery). This constant worrying will just drive you crazy - it's confirmation bias where people are looking for proof that he isn't 100% or something - he's back - just watch him play.
I sat behind the niners bench for the game. Brock was fine with the hits he took from watt, no inkling of it bothering him at all. The team love Brock, especially Fred

To me it looked more like he was adjusting his sleeve.

Lol I was around when Montana got that bad injury to his elbow, seeing that game live back then, was crappy. Maybe I am a little sensitive with 9er qbs and elbow injuries lol

I am sure there must have been more than one reporter not named Matt Maiocco who asked Brock about the elbow during post-game and Brock probably told them "it's fine."

If Brock really had been hurt, there probably would have been an ice-pack on it or some considerable swelling. I didn't see either. Still, I was concerned.
