No, it's deceptive - the safety has good coverage but drops out of it once the ball is thrown.

Not for me. Tua is not durable whatsoever and now injury prone. Hurts is nowhere near the passer as any in my top 3.

PFF had Tua as the highest graded QB by far in Week 1. He had 466 yards to 8 receivers.

He had the highest ypa in the league last year and without his injuries, would have ran away with the MVP.

Too bad they can't play the chargers every week...

So their definitely not below average lol. It's not great that's for sure, but he's also still learning as well which makes it even scarier that he can be better. You would have to be really stupid to think that Allen isnt a really good QB. This a very dumb conversation.

The silver lining is we have a guy that gets us excited, lol.

Allen is an absolute stud though. I think it's hard for people to understand that QB's make more mistakes when they are required to take more chances, if nothing else.

Allen sure looked like a stud last night with 3 INT's and a fumble. Dude is a bum. I don't understand the love for the guy. What good is arm talent when he is always playing for the other team?

My BIL is big time Bills fan and think he's overrated
Allen is an absolute stud. There is no question that he is making some bad decisions....dumb ones in fact. I think a lot of that is because he is asked to carry that offense. Outside of Diggs, he really doesn't have much skillwise. Secondly, I don't think much of their offense schematically....it seems more Josh Allen backyard ball than anything else - which leads to coaching. A guy that reckless with the ball - both throwing and running into defenders - is gonna get him in major trouble. It sure looks like he's not getting coached...he's not getting reigned in. He reminds me of Favre when Holmgren left - when there was nobody really there to hold him accountable...that's when you saw a ton of massive boneheaded plays from Favre.

Allen is still easily top 3 for me...but he's gotta get out of this funk and soon.

Tua was the highest ypa passer last year. It's not a fluke that he's a very, very good QB. He may have the best arm in the NFL.

till he played the Niners, need to see him do it against a good team but he's a lovely QB to watch.

Can he last though as his head is a marshmellow.

All I see here is a bunch of excuses for the guy.

He maybe a stud physically but mentally he doesn't have IT.

The Chargers are expected to make the playoffs this year. Even with the loss, ESPN still has them ranked as a top 10 team.

He did throw 300 yards against the Niners last year on 9 ypa, which is an elite stat. His only issue were the 2 turnovers. He had a 80 RTG against us which isn't that bad against our defense. His worst game last year was playing against the Chargers and he avenged that already this year.

Chargers almost always disappoint and under achieve.

I agree. He obviously flashes at times, with that last second loss to KC a couple years ago being his pinnacle game imo. But overall he is very inconsistent. It seems he's not really reading a d anymore or maybe never properly has?

I will say the same for Herbert. Big arm, but I have yet to see these two come up clutch when it matters most.

Agree, specially when compared to Mr. Relevant. This Purdy guy got *IT!*
We are working out Ian Book today. That's odd…
