I saw Brock working out his arm after that weird fumble recovery behind his back… man that would suck if he's injured already.

Damn. We'll hear more about it today. Yesterday was day off, right?

Shanny said yesterday that there wasn't an injuries from the Steelers game.

Between this and Darnold kneeling in the win formation, is there something wrong with Brock that the team is not telling us?

He looks a bit like Brock. Not too tall, good passer, lots of QB college experience. I'm betting this is a Griese *look-see* if they can upgrade that QB3 position and get younger.

I think just PS.

Purdy played fine the rest of the game I doubt he's hurt.

Probably getting ready to trade Darnold to the Jets

Yeah thats what I'm thinking. Either him or Brandon Allen. Maybe trying to keep the Cowboys from trading Lance before them.

Jets would have been a decent place for Trey to land, but for Zach Wilson. I think Saleh is a good coach and would have done right by Lance and developed him, but he has Zach to deal with.

Darnold would probably Nix that trade, as he came to the 49ers to be specifically coached by Kyle. I think after this season is over, he'll be in demand by a lot of teams that run Kyle's offense. (of the top of my head - you pointed out Jets, maybe Green Bay, Rams, Houston Texans )
saw him rotating his wrist like it got tweaked or something... probably just rest it a few days and be fine

Kyle was looking at Darnold's kneeling advanced stats and had to put him in

Funniest stat I saw was Darnold had better fantasy points after those kneel downs than quite a few starters from sunday

Are you trying to argue that Purdy>Allen?

Lmao. Love Purdy, but holy homer take buddy.

I mean maybe if he continues this level of play through the year, but even people weren't crowning Pat as a top QB with only 7-8 games under his belt.

Purdy is better than Allen. Allen is looking overrated, he panics and throws the ball up for grabs. He has below average decision making and processing speed. It takes much more than arm strength and being 6'5" to be a great qb. Why would you want a guy who turns it over four times? Not even Jimmy had four in one game that I can recall.

Outside of some niner fans, there is not one other person on this planet that would not take Allen. Be it fans, GMs, coaches, players, politicians, gardeners, people in retirement homes, etc...

Like jfc people

He already is a great QB too lol... he had a bad game, it happens. I guess we should've cut Joe as well when he threw 4 picks.

Obviously yes Allen is a great QB and you are right, most would take him over Purdy in a heartbeat because he's a "playmaker".

However, you gotta ask yourself, why the heck he's not just managing the game smartly yesterday, especially when Rodgers went down?

Question:
1:56 mins left in game, down by four right now, this year, these teams, this season, who would trust to put you in the end zone, Purdy or Allen?
