Good for 12th worsed in the league in week 1 against arguably the best pass rushing front 7 in the NFL and we still blew their back out.
Yeah that s**t needs to improve though. Brock isn't gonna make it through the season with that amount of pressures/hits. Had a couple fumbles (one lost) on top of it.
The right side needs to get it together.
edit: how is that 12th worst when that tweet says 30th?
I'm sorry 10th worsed. Its funny because pretty much every o line we consider to be top tier didn't look all that good in pass pro this past week.
It should improve for several reasons. CM won't be up against an all pro in Watt every week. It was the first game that CM and SB have played together in a regular season game. They actually didn't look bad on the first 4 drives of the game. It was when Pitt started to run a bunch of stunts and blitzes on their side when things started to deteriorate. Now they have some film of it for which they can learn from. If CM and Burfod still look like they did in the 2nd half of that game by our bye week than we should start to worry.
steelers have a top 3 DL so this is actually good I think we have a solid OL. Other than Dallas and Phili no one even comes close
edit: Also poor Daniel Jones pressured on almost 70% of dropbacks? and it must've "eased up" when the score got out of hand. It must've been 75%+ when the game was within 2-3 scores
DAL's pass rush will certainly be a huge test for our O line in week 5.
I took a look at what has changed for the Dallas defense on the defensive line, and they don't seem too different. They added a first rounder, that looks like a tree stump nose guy, but haven't seen them add an elite Hargrave/Bosa level player to that already formidable DLine. Having handled them in the playoffs last year, I think McKivitz and Burford (by then) should have played more, ironed out their miscommunications, and play much better than against the Pittsburgh DLine.
