You don't need an amazing arm if you can do this well. He seems to have answers quickly and if not for the most part he can move around long enough to make something positive happen.

it's arrow up for BCB. Let's smoke those Rams

lol

just look at the 2nd TD to BA, Brock is far hash and it's grip it and rip it time.. that one had some hot sauce on it
would anyone say Alex had a way stronger arm than Brock? Alex was a #1 overall. He had no cannon.
Ppl read the draft profile, that's where they get the BP has a weak arm stuff, but you don't see it on Sundays. Arm is great, he doesn't have the CK fastball but not a lot of guys do.

Actually that wasn't zone coverage. Looks like Cover1 with a robber, and Kwon was the robber. But still, he uses his eyes so well to beat zone defenders.

Are you sure? We were told it was simply Kyle's scheme that had guys wide open.

Exactly. The draft position argument is weak. Multiple articles now have redrafted that year and all have Purdy top 10. So would that mean he has a strong arm now? Lol

Remembered Trey failed under Kyle's scheme, so not sure if Trey is that bad, or if Brock is that great.

I love how Steelers fans were hyped about Kwon 😂 😂 😂

TL couldn't do jack and half the guys we tried not named Garoppolo were struggling pretty hard also. You rarely get comps as similar as Skylar Thompson and Purdy.

Both were round 7
Same draft class
Both played games as rookies
Both on loaded Os
even the Os are similar, as Skylar was running Mike McD stuff (Shanahan tree)

compare the results
Thompson was struggling to get the football snapped
we did well to find BP but we got very lucky also, and his recovery was another miracle

That's because he does. But now finally having a qb that can read the game at a high level makes it even better.

Joes arm was as good and probably better. It's debatable. Joe threw bombs that I'd love to see Purdy match, hasn't happened yet.

Joe's defining moments were the catch, his final drive in the '88 Super Bowl, and a few other drives. I didn't see him make any throws in those moments Brock couldn't easily make. That's what I want in a QB, that's what I'm thrilled we may finally have again in a QB.

Bro, no offense but did you actually watch Joe Montana play? My sense is no. Watch the 89 game against the Eagles (or any game with a deep throw) an tell me you've seen Brock make the deep throws Joe did. That takes arm strength - Joe didn't have a cannon but he could throw it deep with touch and accuracy like no one else, and those were NOT heaves.

Brock is rad but he hasn't made any deep throws like Joe did. Saying Brock has a stronger arm is just bunk.

Besides being better Brock played in an offense that actually prepared him for the NFL. K state does not.

In order to do that (look off zone defenders) a QB needs to trust that he has already diagnosed the defense. He already knows a certain route will be open so he can now spend his "free time" looking off zone defenders. A critical skill in today's NFL. I don't know at what point that clicks in a QB's career but it already has for Brock.

Ive been saying that brock's eye manipulation on safeties and linebackers has been critical to his success since last year. You dont have to even coach him on it, he just does it with every play.

Telling that you only quoted this and not the tweet CLEARLY showing that Purdy used his eyes to get the WR open. Which he does constantly. But that doesn't fit your narrative so...
