Apparently, a stat that I found notable has angered some folks. Just thought it was interesting to note that this week:#49ers were 28th in average separation by pass catchers, 30th in pressure percentage allowed and 31st in YAC.

Yep the only thing that really worries me is our Oline. Just got to hope they continue to get better throughout the year.

I thought we found the guy when Alex Smith beat the Saints in the playoffs. I was wrong.

I thought we found the guy when Kaepernick dismantled the Packers in the playoffs. I was wrong.

I thought we found the guy when Jimmy beat the Jags in 2017. Turned out to be wrong.

I've just been hurt so many times. Please tell me this time is different. I can't think of any QB who successfully faked being this good for 9 straight games in his 1st/2nd season except for Nick Foles…

Far better headwork than Kaepernick and Garoppolo, and far better killer instinct and aggressiveness than Smith. No holes in his game. This time is different. Put your feet up, pop a beer, and watch the Lombardi Trophies fall in your lap.

49ers made deep playoff runs with all three QBs & made Super bowls with 2 of the 3. Not sure you were "wrong"

The only thing I worry about with Purdy is their ability to protect him. If it was me, I would go all in on upgrading the OL next offseason. Trying to build as formidable of a wall to give him the maximum time to operate as possible. It's what the Patriots did for Brady, the Saints did for Brees, the Cowboys did for Romo and the Packers did for Rodgers.

Not a single one was consistent or dependable enough. Smith was too conservative, Kaepernick too focused on his athleticism and not the mental side, Garoppolo too erratic and way too injury prone.

All we can do is wait and see

I understand that feeling and for me… the only question I have is if Purdy can stay healthy.

Because IMO he's checked every box, even more so than the height of Kaepernick IMO. I never felt this way about Smith or Jimmy G, because both of those players had some major flaws. Purdy just doesn't have those same issues.

Yes. I need draft the OL for upgrading next April 2024 for 1st round. Look at Aaron Rodgers was out from sack last Monday night.. Ouch. I am worrying if Purdy will get hurt or injury from sacks.. we need Olines must protect our Purdy please..

That is nuts, give the steelers their due....it wasn't enough...but the put up a hell of a fight on D....Purdy was just better
