He wins almost every game he enters. He has elite processing pre snap and post snap. He goes though reads and progressions quickly, makes excellent decisions, gets the ball out quick, has great mechanics, throws an accurate catchable ball. Beyond that Purdy is sneaky quick and athletic in a 10 - 15 yard box area. Which buys him time to throw or scramble for a 1st down.

Other than his draft status and the name that comes with there is literally nothing you can point to that he does bad.

It's like Steve Young said. If you doubt Purdy he is the type of guy who will make you look foolish. I agree completely.

What will it take? Win the Super Bowl? Get to the Pro Bowl? Keep winning games with the outstanding TD to INT ratio?

I said it earlier and I'll say it again:

The Dallas game on SNF. If he plays well that game, there will be no more "well maybe…" it will simply be "he's that guy."

Every franchise QB has two moments: one when the fanbase realizes it and another when the national media realizes it. The fanbase realized it when he slaughtered the Seahawks in the playoffs (for some it was sooner, like the Bucs/Seahawks regular season games, but that was when the vast majority of the fanbase realized it).

The national media hasn't realized it yet, but that moment is coming.

Yeah I agree. The national media has not realized it yet. But if he keeps winning big games eventually they will. They will have no choice. I think it will continue and happen too. At some point they will have no choice to admit it. Even dragging kicking and screaming to that realization.

I'd love to see mainstream media being dragged around kicking and screaming - fired even. That would make my day, since they are so incompetent.

They are with this guy for sure.

He will probably continue to be disrespected for years. Even one ring may not be enough. It did took Brady years before people realized he was great. The Dallas game on SNF can help but it would just be less degree of disrespect IMO.

Who was running the hot route on this play?

It was hard to see where he was supposed to go with the ball when I watched the breakdown.

I don't know why Kyle thinks he can see the hot read with the Dline in his face. He sometimes does not understand the trenches when his right side of the line keeps getting beat and the hot read is not visible. EGO that's his plays always work and that the constant pressure from the right side is killing him. Kudos for Brock jukeing Fitz on the left side blitz. 👏

If Deebo was the hot route, that's poorly conceived. If Mitchell is the hot route, my guy Kyle you can't have a hot route on the other side of the field and expect the QB to go from the blitzer to that hot. I don't like it.

Mostly I love Kyle's scheme, but on empty sets you got to have better answers against blitzes. Unless in Kyle's system his "hot routes" are more like Madden hot routes where the QB has to signal before the snap or something.

I believe it was Deebo on the hot route and there was no way for Brock to see him.

I agree Kyle needs to understand his o line is deficient on the right side and plan accordingly. Hot routes should be in the middle or left. If he the hot route is on the right than he should roll out that way. Dangerous though and can get Purdy killed.

Better to fly under the radar anyways in my opinion.

We talked a lot about this last year. This is something both K.Warner and JT O'PicksALot have said about Kyle's system. They said sometimes there isn't one there at all OR it's on the backside of the play. This is exasperated inside the 10 yard RZ because of the time it takes to get to the backside and the condensed field.

Both said this could be easily rectified by simply 1) Having one and 2) Moving him to the play side

But it hasn't happened yet for some reason.

I honestly heard McRob say "He's the same guy as Garoppolo, with just a bit more athletecism. They saw the need to improve on that, and That's why they made the move to get Lance. Brock isn't making those reads, Kyle Shanahan is making those reads".

You can't reason with that kind of bias.

the argument that he is big, at all. I just don't think he's small.

if you've noticed, and Brock's even mentioned this,
he has short legs for his height. That is one reason his 10 yard split is so impressive but it's also a reason why he looks shorter than he is.

he looks shorter because of his thick juicy thighs, same with smaller bear
Brock's pronouns are He's/Him.

JTO is where I watched the film, as he pointed out Deebo was the hot read, which I believe as well. He didn't say to much about the line just that Purdy should have seen it. I think if Kyle paid more attention to where we are weak and understand that means field of vision as well. Hopefully the right side of the line does better this game or Donald is going to have a career day.

As you said as well:

Both said this could be easily rectified by simply 1) Having one and 2) Moving him to the play side...
I think Brock will have 3 touchdowns and 0 into tomorrow. Going to be glorious. Our d line is gonna annihilate Stafford booty.
