Forget his draft status. Watch HOW HE PLAYS!
Didn't you get the memo? Unlike ANY other QB that has ever played in the league, Purdy has playmakers and a coach that knows how to get his targets open. Something that guys like Mahomes, Burrows, and Allen clearly do not have. Just imagine if those guys had players on the field with them and actual coaches instead of just going out there by themselves and calling their own plays.
It's a catch 22. If you're young and play well it's all about your weapons and the team around you. Funny how Russel Wilson avoided that narrative. Once you get established it's all about the weapons you don't have. It's the whole reason why QBs like Rodgers, Brees and Manning don't have more Superbowls. In order to win multiple Superbowls you have to have a good coach, good qb, great team and get lucky a couple times.
I rewatched the games from last year. Brock had some normal rookie mistakes, but overall he looked great. Last year it felt surreal. Hard to believe. Now we have to give him credit for last year and everything he does from now on. He's that dude.

if you've noticed, and Brock's even mentioned this,
he has short legs for his height. That is one reason his 10 yard split is so impressive but it's also a reason why he looks shorter than he is.
Lol

Lmao that's Josh Allen's motto. The last two games I've watched (his last playoff game & jets game), that's essentially all he's done. Just trying to force it deep over and over again.
im telling you, he hasn't looked like the same player since his OC left to coach the giants. He hasn't looked terrible or anything but has got worse at a few things and the play calling is way worse.
finding a running back is super easy these days, literally can find one UDFA, they haven't managed to do that for like five years now. Just trade us for one. Lmao idk why they're so dumb with it but Allen could really it's the help

Last pick in the draft. This is what the nfl wants lol, it just takes time

Agree, but it's those damn injury 🐜🪲 that 🪲🐜 the hell out of me. Wish Kyle drafted an OLineman this last draft, Oh well, gotta go with what we have now. We shall see. Hope McKivitz holds up on that AstroTurf!

We're talking about the longest non-kicker NFL career. You're comparing a player who missed one season with an ACL injury and 4 games in another in 22 NFL seasons with a guy who couldn't survive 7 games.
It's somewhat ok to mention Young and Montana when discussing Purdy because same team and all, but starting to bring up Brady, Rodgers and Brees is just completely *choose_your_own_adjective*.
Let Purdy survive and throw for two consecutive 30+ TD NFL seasons (and don't forget that Garcia had only 16 game seasons) before even thinking about calling him the best Niner QB since Young. Right now he hasn't even proven that he's better than Kaep.
That said, he's proven that he's an overall better QB than Jimmy when the team is stacked and the team isn't more than 1 score behind. How he performs without the NFL's (arguably) best squad of skill position players, the NFL's top defense and down 2+ scores we don't know.
In what way does that have a single thing to do with what I said?

So he uses three legs to scramble.

Man I hope Purdy rips McVay a new one on his defense. Can't wait to see Purdy throw 300+ yards on McVay one of these days. Not necessarily today, as I'm looking for CMC road grading some Ram's DB's.

How does Purdy complete these deep outs from the opposite hash with such a weak arm?
Okay I'm done lol.
