The good from Brock

I remember this play and It shows Brocks control of the game so well here, knowing the free rusher is coming and drifting slowly to the left to buy enough time for the window to open then perfect throw.

Any targets?

Kyle is the one playing quarterback?

Yes. Kyle has been qb for this team for the last 6 years.
It's great when a win still feel likes a loss to keep everyone sharp, including Brock.

It wasn't a great game. But if you can win on the road with no TOs and playing your "C" game, that does say something. In many ways, he looked like Jimmy today.

Minus the stupid turnover

And the massive contract.

This!

Brock doesn't throw touchdowns but wins games?

Too many people herer just look at the throws. He DIDNT CHOKE like SAFFORD, Like COUSINS on 4th and 8, likie many others would have in an away game against a team that keeps having poositive plays where you have to answer.

You're wrong, he gets an A- due to NO TURNOVERS.

No turnovers should be the standard not the exception. You're wrong.
no turnovers is not the standard, everyone turns the ball over.

Purdy seems pretty special at that. One of the reasons why we win. He doesn't make the bonehead plays. Very overlooked and underrated.

At least you could be like Furlow and admit how wrong you were about Kyle being the problem and not Jimmy.

Plays are open. Players have to hit them. Brock didn't do it as well as he normally does today.

For sure. 30 points is a good bar, but could have been 44.

These little failures are a great way to learn. Being able to fail while winning is the best you can do.

We're not trying to win the championship in September and October

That's when the Cowboys win their championships.

I said Kyle has some problems, not that he is the problem.

I would argue that Purdy's common sense, calm, deliberate decision making was as good as normal today, which won us the game.

He got jittery on a couple of throws, which is a small thing that didn't cost us the game, because of his deliberate common sense decision making.

Agreed. It's funny because he made a lot of boneheaded plays in college when trying to make plays. His playing style is conductive to that but he seemed to be able to cut out the heroball stuff.

As far as decision making, it's no contest. Brock is better at making decisions and reading the field than all of the other 49ers starting QBs in Kyle era...combined.
It's incredible how he sees the field and how quickly he reacts to stuff happening.

Yes I agree.
On a side note, was cool to see the Brock - Toyota commercial. This dude needs some extra money, lol.
